Is it bad to give your cat treats every day? I do. Does it make them fat? Mine is about 17 pounds right now. Is that overweight for a cat? HELP!

We have a 10 year old domestic short hair cat who is uriniating--and destroying our house. She is very sweet to us but EXTREMELY aggressive to others. We recently took her to the vet and they had to sedate her just to examine her. After many tests they told us that she is physically fine--so her problem is emotional. I just can't put her to sleep, I would feel horrible. We have called many No-Kill shelters and they are all full. One said they would look at her and if she was healthy and friendly they would put her up for adoption. That won't happen since she is so aggressive. Has anyone else had to deal with this? Also, since shehas been urinating we have to use Nature's Miracle and Odorsout--which fortunately help the smell but she continues to go in the same spots. We have tried mothballs, sprays, you name it. HELP!!!

Yesterday afternoon, my husband and I adopted two house cats in response to a newspaper advertisement. They are both three years old, spayed and neutered, current on all their shots and very healthy animals. They were given to us because the lady's older cat was having trouble adjusting to them living there. They are both very friendly and affectionate, but neither of them have eaten a bite since they've been here. We are giving them the same food they had at their old house, and have shown them repeatedly where the food is located, but with no luck. Is this because they are still getting used to living in a new place or should I be worried?

In my last post someone suggested Feliway to help stop my cats meowing and I was wondering if anyone has tryed it or knows of anything else I could give him that would help!

I'll put an overview of the problem below for those of you who didn't see my last post!

We adopted him from my husbands family because they could no longer care for him. We've had him for afew weeks now. The cat use to be the quiet one of the group (there were 3 others becides him) But since we got him he meows and meows like crazy! Especially at night! We think he misses his old cat companions. (he is neuterd by the way) If we can't find a way to help him settle down and stop meowing we have to get rid of him :( The apartment owner said if we get just one complaint we can't keep him. Do you think Feliway would help? Please Please Please let me know if you have any ideas or info for me!!

My 6 month old kitten has just vomited up phlem and a 2 or 3 inch live white worm which looks like an earth worm. I always thought that worms were something that were found in cats faeces or in the litter tray. Is it possible that cats can vomit up worms?
I intend to take her to the vet tomorrow but would appreciate some advice now as I am very worried and the poor kitten looks so scared and sad!
Thanks

Everytime we leave, he always pees on the bedding, or the couch. Lately we have shut every door in the house, but he still pees all over the floor. When we are home, he goes in his litter box, which is cleaned every day. I really need a comprehensive solution to this problem. I do not want to get rid of my cat, so please do not respond with that. Is there a spray or method to prevent my cat from peeing everywhere when he is upset or lonely?

Is a cat always happy when it purrs? Yes, cats are normally happy when they purr, right? But can/do they purr when they are uncomfortable or mad, too?
