She's 3 years old, fixed, and you know we got a dog like a year and a half ago, but she just started biting EVERYTHING: our chairs, beds, dressers....I have no idea what to do, and I don't want to get rid of her....

This may seem a little bit cruel, but run over to the dollar store and get a combo pack of squirt guns, the little hand held ones, and place them near where she does this, 1 squirt of water will stop her and after a few squirts my cats never do anything bad. It may seem cruel but it dries, and i'd rather give my cat a lil water to the tummy then have to get rid of them.

Get the 'Sour Apple' spray from a pet store (technically it is for dogs) and spray that on whatever the cat is biting. The taste lasts for a couple of days and you will have to respray if the cat starts biting again.

the acquaintances opt for to end petting the cat on the start. If the cat is getting a contact agitated end petting him for a contact. If he does chew um... scold him by saying no. be affected guy or lady and save telling your cat that you want him. Be very gentle such as your cat. If no progression have a ensure up on the vet.

She could just be rebelling against the invasion of her territory by the dog. However, it may also indicate a dietary deficiency. You may want to check with your vet. You might try giving her toys that are meant for chewing.

If you dont have a sratching post buy one. If you have a water bottle that has a squirt cap around fill it with water when you see her chewing on furniture give her a squirt it doesn't hurt them at all.

It seems that your cat is having jealousy issues. Maybe spending more time with her or trying to give her essences in her food for jealousy might help. (Scroll down to "holly").

do you have a scratching post for her? i think maybe she would attack that instead of the furniture.
