Typical situation. Our kitty was eating on almost every plant in the house, so I bought some cat green seeds. Now have a nice crop and he won't touch them. Still eating everything else that's green. I put them right by his food bowl like the directions say. Would appreciate your suggestions.

Thanks

Could someone give me a summary of different coat types you get on a cat? Breeds that have particular coat types would be appreciated too. Thanks.

We have a cat that craves attention. (I think he is part Siamese for any that are familiar with the personality.) He loves to be held and wants attention ALL of the time. He meows if he feels ignored at all. We are going on vacation for ten days and my husband thinks we should board him so he doesn't get lonely but I think this would be traumatic. What do you guys think?

Will she need antibiotics, pain meds, or what? What if she won't take them.

My persian kitten has beautiful long soft grey hair but it really seems to be too long. I groom him and try and wash him every couple of weeks or so, think bundle of teeth and claws and you'll get the picture, but I've never seen a cat with such long hair.

Should he/could he get a trim?

I have been syringe feeding him. I've blended fish, milk and vitamins, milk and cereal. He is taking a small amount but rejecting the rest. We can't keep him inside because it's the height of summer and we have no air conditioning and he's a veritible houdini, even with all the windows and doors shut. We have cleaned the bank out with vet fees and can't afford any more treatment there. Does anyone have any cheap pain relief ideas for cats? Anyone know of any feeding ideas for a cat who can't chew?

I buy Purina One for Sensitive Systems cat food and feed little amounts at a time and my cat still vomits after eating. I havent tried talking to a vet yet but I was just curious if anyone else has had this problem and what you suggest or what your vet suggested.

My mum let my kitten out by accident, it is just over 6 months old and has been out now for 6 hours it's quite cold and very windy. She has never been outside before and i don't know where she is, we live in a semi rural area. Will she come back, she is very adventurous.

I have a female cat who is siamese-burmese cross. She just turned twelve. She may need to be spayed due to several reasons. She started having kittens after she turned 8yrs old. Now she's sick and tired of it ,but keeps getting pregnant ( I have 5 other cats too ). And the another reason is that she might have some sort of infection. Pyometra, i think. But i hope not. I still need to get her checked by the Vet.
I'm worried that she's too old , and might not survive the surgery. Since i heard that there is risk with Anesthesia. That some pets just die when given that. i'm afraid of loosing her. please tell me whether it's safe or not. I don't know what to do :(

He's been acting this way for 2 days...he had been doing his business on our rugs so we put a spray to stop him and ever since then he wont come out of under the chair thats at the end of the hall. ever time I take him to the kitchen he runs back under the chair. when I mange for him to stay there (kitchen) I've had to set there with in order for him to eat and he acts rather nerves when he's eating which is only for like a min. could he be having a weird reaction to the spray,,,even though it wasnt put all around the house? Its wasnt put in the kitchen.

is it wrong to use a feeder and waterer permanently for a pet? my kitten uses them whenever she needs to and doesn't seem to know a difference. i change the water every few days and it doesn't appear to be doing any harm. my friend says it's not good because the dry food will get stale and should only use them if i go away. i don't see a difference wheter i'm here or away. i like the convenience of the dry food feeder and waterer for everday use. she does get wet food but but that i do put in a sep dish. serious opinions please.

My cats chew up their dry food over their dish (for the most part) and the tiny morsels of food fall back into the dish. They'll start hanging out around the dish, acting as if it's empty. When I look to see if it's empty, the little pieces that they produced by crunching them are still in the dish. The little snots make me put more food in. Mind you, it's not like it's been out there for days...overnight at the most.

I went to the vet today because my kitty is sick and hasnt eaten in a while. She told me to give him a half a cup of milk and some egg yolk for protien. I was wondering if anyone else has tried this, and if so, did it help in making your kitty feel better?
