This cat in mind also is the fattest cat i have ever seen and looks like garfield. How big are persians supposed to get?is it fat or just fur?

I think Persians would be a good match with your ragdoll. I have a ragdoll too (so cute!) and they are part Himalayan and part Persian. I think it's a good match.

My Friend and neighbour down the hall has a Persian and she is just as laid back as my Ragdoll. I think they should get along as both breeds are laid back cats as well as a Little lazy to be quite frank. But the Ragdolls are friendlier and I have had cats all of my 58 years of life. If I were you I'd go for it The cats could get along..Although if you want another ragdoll I get one. I love ragdolls, they are just so darn friendly. My cat Mia is the friendliest that I have ever had. She doesn't know what a stranger is. She is just so darn cute.

OK as you are aware Persians are a very old breed of cat and also a haughty one they seem to think that they have sole ownership, so if you are thinking of having one be sure that you are aware that they need an awfull lot of pampering and grooming and also lots of attention, with that in mind they like most cats make wonderful pets.

the persians i have had have always been big lazy balls of fluff that as long as been fed groomed and have some where warm to sleep are no problem, there a very laid back breed of cat, but they snore like an old man.

I have four Maine Coons and although different in appearance they are said to be very similar in personality. They are well temperes, and like to be involved in what Im doing, they can be aloof and are good at dirty looks! but they live quite happily with other cats as i have two bengals as well (who do not take quite so well to other cats) I think you should go for it!

They are absolutely lovely, very very sweet tempered indeed. Though I have read that they have very quiet voices I once had a person that could howl like a banshee (he was deaf so I guess he didn't know he wasn't being quite)

Got one. She is brilliant!! Their breathing can be alarming due to their flat faces...usually ok though. Know a few..owners adore them. Generally mild mannered..Lovely.

Most persians are very sweet and low key.
I highly recommend them!

Generally well except when faced with a shaggy Iraqi.
