Hi there...consider Nature's Miracle Just For Cats found worldwide at most pet stores. It's an enzymatic neutralizer which works by breaking down urine proteins by thoroughly soaking the areas affected and allowing to air dry. Repeated applications are necessary for heavily soiled areas.

We've tested nearly all enzyme neutralizers available in the marketplace for our exotic cats which have stronger urine than domestic cats and found that Nature's Miracle Just for Cats has always worked the best.

If you can find a product called Diaper Pure for soaking baby's diapers this works the best. Mix a mixture of this with water, pour it on the spot and shop vac or soak it up. It neutralizes the smell. I saved a carpet this way. Oxyclean works as well but not as well.

When you are dealing with cat urine or any urine for that matter. The 3 major parts of urine is urea- which the sticky tacky part, the urochrome- which is the pigment or color part and the uric acid cyrstals and salts. Alot of products will work on the 1st two parts listed above which removes the stain and odor, the odor part is not gone the cyrstals just dry and become dormat, Isn't interesting that when it rains, or gets humid the ordor comes back or the carpet gets wet from steam cleaning or more urine from a pet the odor comes back, it always comes back.... It takes an very special product to get rid of urine competely, look at the following site www.urine-off.com this company makes bacteria and enzymes to eat Fats, Oils, Grease, strach, and Sugar. They spent alot of time feeding very specfic bacteria all the components of urine until they had a product that eat it all the way to Black Light Clean- that means that all the residue of the urine is gone.. Give them a try they truly have something very good. Good Luck with the Cat Pee

I use Apple Cider Vinegar from the health food store full strength in a spray bottle, it works but smells like a salad 4 a while though. thoroughly spray the area then put an old towel or shirt on the spot and stand on it to blot the spot real good. I spray it a couple more times over the next week 4 good measure!

Okay, I dumped Windex on it first...then two bottles of Nature's Miracle over a 3 day period, then rented a carpet shampooer and shampooed the carpet in that area about 4 times in 2 days and surprisingly, that did it...total time was about 7 days worth of dealing with it but it's gone...my kitty had a bladder infection and the corner of the carpet in the living room was her way of "telling" me...

I wish you well! A lot depends on whether the urine was mixed with 'spray' ...if so, it's practically impossible! I have spent in the past tons of money on things that were supposed to be guaranteed to work but did not.

If it is just urine and hasn't been re-peed-upon then you may be able to get out with just a good shamooing and a mixture of baking soda and wa ter.

Cats have tremendous olfactory power and can smell where they once 'went' which is why they then revisit the same area.

I use Vinegar. Poor some on the spot where they pee'd and scrub it. That rescrub it with warm water. It will smell for a couple of hours, but will go away. And anythings better than pee!

Go get Odo-Ban. It's a cleaner that kills all kinds of odors--even the stench of cat spray. It's safe to use on almost any fabric or upholstery, and kills odors.

I used to get it at Sam's Club, but Smart-and-Final might carry it, or an industrial cleaning supply store.

Lots of vinegar - it also keeps them from peeing in that spot again. Kick that cat out of the house....
