My mum let my kitten out by accident, it is just over 6 months old and has been out now for 6 hours it's quite cold and very windy. She has never been outside before and i don't know where she is, we live in a semi rural area. Will she come back, she is very adventurous.

yes it will.... just look everywhere and maybe take cat food with you to shake or open in hopes to attract it.

Go outdoors and call for her and put some food out for her. And wait -- outdoors. Whatever you do, do not chase her if you find her; she'll likely run away. Offer her treats and talk calmly to her and get down on the ground to be at her level.

Please ignore my mentally deranged stalker who's made it his (or her) life's mission to give me a thumbs-down everywhere I go here.

So why aren't you out looking for it or at the very least calling for it? Hopefully she will come back before something gets to her.

She might come back. there is a pretty good chance she will. But put up posters just in case. Good Luck finding her!
