My kitten has been refusing to eat and drink since yesterday and i brought him to vet for a thorough checkup. They did a X-Ray scan on him and found his pelvic fractures due to some blunt hit on his leg, well he used to be a stray cat and i rescued him from the road side. I'm really confused here and scared, I dont know what should I do with him since he has been refusing to eat and drink, often vomit after we fed him medicine to soften this faeces and antibiotic. He even got a swollen buttock too! I know i can't keep him at home for long if he keeps vomitting as he will gets dehydrated and die but he's just 2 months old! I really dont know what to do...I'll taking its to the vet tonight for dripping/fluids to keep him hydrated and i really hope he didnt get any panleukopenia virus from my other cat which was admitted to the hospital until now. According to the doc, human can transfer such virus to kitten if they handle them with the same hand unwashed. I need your advise seriously

I have a cat flap that allows my cat to come in and out as he pleases. Recently I think a neighbour's cat is attempting to come in, or has been in my house and is upsetting my cat. Locking the cat door is not an option as my cat gets very nasty when trapped inside all day. Any suggestions??

I really want this stray but tamed kitten in my neighborhood that no one has claimed. I REALLY want him. An they are making up these excuses of why I can't have him. How do I make them let me have him. I KNOW they are just not letting me have him because neither of them like cats.

My cat has what appears to be a inflammed lower lip; it's noticeably bigger. At first i feared it was a serious internal disease, but now i think it's more likely a dental problem. if this is dentally associated, what can i do to improve his gum health? if he were to have gum disease is it reverseable and/or treatable. today i bought friskies dental diet dry food to help improve. his lower lip or gum appears to be inflammed. as i open his mouth it looks like the swelling goes back to his two front bottom teeth, kind of like his gum and his lower lip....? he's young if that helps (turned 2 yrs. this month)
what do you think? any suggestions would be helpful, please?

P.S i do plan on taking him to the vet a.s.a.p.

My cat was in heat 2-3 weeks ago and we were bring a refrigerator through the front door and she ran past. She was gone for 24 hours and when she came back there was another cat with her. I am pretty much positive she is pregnant. My question as I stated above is would I be able to feel lumps this early on..? It's only been about 2-3 weeks (can't remember exactly) but I think i feel little bumps in her stomach. She is much more affectionate and wants me to pet her stomach. She is eating more as well.

She's been acting extremely jumpy and nervous, drinking a lot, and eating far more than usual. Am I just overreacting?

I'm thinking about getting one of those pet fountains for my cat. She absolutely loves drinking (and playing in) running water from our tub and sinks so I think she would enjoy something like this.

I've been looking online and in pet supply catalogs, Drinkwell and Fresh Flow seem to be the popular brands. What kind do you have, and do you and your pets like it? Any suggestions on what size would be good for a cat? I'd prefer one that doesn't need the filter changed on a daily basis and is fairly easy to clean. Price is not really an issue; I just want a quality fountain.

My family has a that is 11 weeks old, the rest of the litter grew normally, but this little one hasnt grown much at all. She is still able to sit or curl up in your hand. I have heard about mini cats and that they are rare. could she have anything wrong with her.

Do you ever catch your cat watching tv or watching YOU watch tv? Sometimes mine gives me the strangest look when I am watching tv. What do you think they think about it? :)

I just got home from work and my house smells of cat urine. I want so badly to get the smell out and stop my cat from doing this so I don't have to get rid of him. Any suggestions? I'm going to get him neutered asap and I hope that stops it!!!

does anyone know the price range for a declawing?

i already know its inhumane to declaw a cat. but in my case i think its neccesary, otherwise i would have to put my cat down.
my cat taco, has been vicously attacking her other 2 kitty friends. on sunday was THE WORST --my roomate was in the basement doing laundry, when she bent down to pet taco, and she climbed my roomates leg and attacked her, then started attacking my other cat, snipper, BRUTALLY. i mean, it was bad. my roommate screamed for me to come down, and when i did, i saw taco mauling snipper, so i grabbed snipper in the middle of the fight, and taco climbed up my leg and attacked me and snipper, who was in my arms. i have a bruise the size of a baseball (due to the impact of taco jumping on me) and over 20 scratches all over my arms.
cat claw caps wont work -- she needs her claws permanently covered, or gone. and caps are temperary. ill never know when she will attack again, so she NEEDS to be declawed.
