I think he's found some other "friends" like you! Must remember and like you though if he still drops in to say hello! Thanks for caring for him!
I have one that drops by to "visit" my cats through the glass doors, than sprays urine on the doors and the windows to let me know he's been passing through. The first night after we had the house broken into, the alarm sounded in the back room. I went running down the hall with a nine iron only to find my kitty rubbing up against the glass because our furry friend was on the other side...and no I didn't use the golf club.

I tamed a wild cat it took a long time. She only comes in at night. And goes out during the day she eats the food i give her too but you will not remove any wild habits from them. What i am saying is that your cat is still catching mice birds and whatever so do not worry if she or he is not eating all the food you are offering. If your cat is not losing weight then do not worry.

If the cat lives outside he's probably getting a lot of exercise. I think he's eating all he needs to. He gets hungry that is why he eats some of what you give him but leaves the rest is because he's had enough. Need I remind you that it is winter time? There is a cat that runs around my house that is usually a pretty large animal and he's gotten sort of skinny. On a normal day this cat looks like an over stufferd Garfield, today he looks Skinny like flava flave.

He may not be as wild as you think or the human society may have picked him up. He survived before you fed him, he may be in someones house, feeding himself or just moved on, don't worry, he'll be fine. What is meant to be will be. =)
