everytime i go to feed my cat or give him water, there's always at least one of his dried biscuits floating in his water. I always think yuk and get him a fresh supply. cos it happens alot i'm beginning to think he may be trying to flavor the water and actually wants it there, any ideas?

How can i get my cat to like being outside?
i have had my cat since he was 8 weeks old.
he is now nearly 2 years old.

he has been brought up indoors as i live in a block of flats and untill recently all the neighbours had dogs.

even tho he has had the snip, my cat can be vicious so when he was six months old i started walking him on a lead to get him used to being outside as the vet suggested letting him out as maybe it would help calm him down.

since last week i decided to take him out without his lead. he didnt run off to explore like i thought he would he just ran straight to the front door of the block and meowed ever so loudly untill i let him back in.

its a safe area where i took him near the flats and its quite as its away from the road.

he always runs straight back to the block.
if i dont let him in he meows untill someone lets him in.

I have 4 cats including 2 kittens under a year. The older ones eat different food than the young ones. I'm having trouble finding a food that is good for all of them. I was wondering if I started making homemade cat food for them if it is healthier. Aswell, if you have some veterinary certified recipes plz feel free to post them. Thx a lot!!

She has always been friendly, and very affectionate so I can't tell if that has changed at all, as I know that pregnant cats get more affectionate. She has one large nipple but the others are normal size, she sleeps in her normal basket and now she has sleeps under the radiator and shifts from the two. Could she be pregnant

Whenever our cat plays with my fiance and me, her tail bristles out into a thick brush. Why is this? Happy or Angry?

Before you attack me because I haven't had my cat in the vets for five years, remember that he's lived for 17 years and I must be doing something right.

Now for the question. He's 17 years old and we're doing something now that requires all my cats to be current on their vacinations. I hear that vaccinating a cat that old can be fatal. What are the odds of getting the simple vaccinations killing my cat? I could never forgive myself if any thing happened to him and it was my fault. Web sites on vaccinating geriatric cats would be helpful. thanks.

When doing my garden the otherday I found a dead cat in my flower beds. The only thing I could think of doing with it was freezeing it so to preserve the body, while I tracked down the owner. Its been 2 weeks and I still have not found the owner. What do I do with the cat, bury it in my own garden?

Well new kittens are 8 weeks old and i just got them about 2 days ago. I have two siblings, a boy and a girl. They were supposively strays, although they have warmed up quite a bit and enjoy human contact. They are very sweet and cute, but VERY playful! One moment they will be attacking each other like they will kill each other then the next moment they will be cuddling side by side. My concern is that they recently (about 3 days ago) got spayed and neutered, so the humane society told us to have them take it easy. Should i be concerned about this crazy agressive playing? should i stop it or just let them figure things out and play? is this a bad habit for them to learn in the future... or maybe im just being overly worried about this whole thing... i dont know....
