If your cat is still in heat, the mating likely didn't take. Sometimes they will have to mate a couple of times before it takes. So you still have time to avoid kittens.

Is it ever! Cats don't mate with one partner and one time.
Female cats mate with whoever is available and for about
7-8 days. So you will get a litter of maybe greys and a
couple siamese and maybe a calico or two. Have fun.

Between three to four MILLION cats and dogs are euthanized each year at shelters in the U.S. because loving, responsible caregivers cannot be found.

Please do not contribute to the problem. Spay or neuter your cat.

If your cat produces kittens, a home will have to be found for each one. That is just taking homes away from the many animals that are already in need of one.

Yes. In cats intercourse stimulates ovulation but her heat will continue for several days and she will still be receptive to mating

Yes - she can mate several times and have multiple kittens by multiple fathers.

It's also still possible to get her spayed and avoid having a litter of kittens, if you do it soon! If you're not breeding cats for show, I highly recommend calling your vet & arranging to get her spayed ASAP.
