My kitten has been refusing to eat and drink since yesterday and i brought him to vet for a thorough checkup. They did a X-Ray scan on him and found his pelvic fractures due to some blunt hit on his leg, well he used to be a stray cat and i rescued him from the road side. I'm really confused here and scared, I dont know what should I do with him since he has been refusing to eat and drink, often vomit after we fed him medicine to soften this faeces and antibiotic. He even got a swollen buttock too! I know i can't keep him at home for long if he keeps vomitting as he will gets dehydrated and die but he's just 2 months old! I really dont know what to do...I'll taking its to the vet tonight for dripping/fluids to keep him hydrated and i really hope he didnt get any panleukopenia virus from my other cat which was admitted to the hospital until now. According to the doc, human can transfer such virus to kitten if they handle them with the same hand unwashed. I need your advise seriously

I'm sorry to say it sounds like the cat is telling you he's in too much pain to do anything. It may be the best to know that you did all you could and let him go. It will be more loving for you to put him to sleep than to put him through a long suffering period from which he may never recover. I say this because when an animal stops eating and drinking, organs fail and the animal dies in a few days, prepare yourself. You are such a loving animal lover and this animal knows you care and you tried. Just let go.

The answers to your questions should be evaluated by a professional. You are doing the right thing by taking your cat to to the vet. Both feline aids and leukemia are highly contagious so I encourage you to have your kitten vaccinated for both if everything else turns out all right. I wouldn't bee too worried that your cat will get anything at the vets office because vet offices sterilize their rooms constantly. No matter what happens it should be noted that you are an extremely kind person. You have taken in a stray animal and you are going to the veterinarian to save its life. If more people acted this way then we would have a better world. Good luck, and remember good deeds are always returned in the end:)

Since you're taking him to the vet, you've already chosen the best thing for him. He might have gotten into a fight, or he might have been hit. I can't really see that making him vomit though, unless something else happened at the same time.

Until you can get him there, try to keep him comfortable.

Good luck.
