She has three cats and one hides from me, one shies away when I try to stroke her, and an old hag aged 9 years who meows grouchily when I stroke her but doesn't actively get away from me. How do I get them to like me?

I take my cats for their "annual" wellness visit, and while they're there, I ask my vet to update any shots that need updating.. but I don't really understand what the shots are, what each one is for, and how long each shot is supposed to last.

Also regarding shots: when is it necessary for cats to have "booster" shots (a second round of shots- a few weeks after the first)? I thought that was just for kittens.

Other things I'm wanting to be certain that I am doing right for my cats (please correct if I'm wrong/ suggest the best brands, etc):

Best way to worm indoor cats

Flea maintenance (they get a monthly mild-soap bath, monthly flea medication (& flea spray on the other weeks), I vaccuum a lot.

I brush their teeth monthly w/ cat toothpaste (is this necessary? Or should I even do it weekly like the tube says?).

They get purified water & they're on diet Iams, but I want to switch to a raw meat diet like "Bravo."

Anything else? Any *kind* info will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Just get a new kitten a couple of days ago, that I guess it is less than one month old (very small). The kitten had been meowing almost non stop and is following me around the house.

I think the kitten didn't eat the cat food or the milk too, I had only saw it drinking a bit of water.

Any suggestion? (most important of all, get it to stop meowing non stop)

My cat grew up as an in-door pet, n have always used the kitty litter. But for the past 3 years, she spends a lot of times outside. So I was hoping she'd do her business outside, but she always waits til she gets home to go. How do I train her to go outside n stop using the kitty litter?

I have a fixed male cat that does not seem to be the offender. When we come home from work the smell near the front porch is most offensive. We do let our cat out for limited periods - 30 minutes - and know that he has been fighting. Should we stop letting him out?

I have seen some videos on the net with cats talking, saying hello and I love you and also singing. Is this for real or have I been scammed?

I got my new kittens over a week ago, and since...about Tuesday they are starting to use my legs as scratching posts. They jump on my leg and climb up onto my lap, using my leg as a ladder
(With their claws out). They draw blood sometimes and I dont know how to stop them.
Ive used a spray bottle, a scratching post to see if they use that instead and the old word ''NO''. But nothing is working.

Any ideas?

I own two five month old kittens, ones a boy and ones a girl. My Mum says they don't need to get "fixed" untill the middle of next month, but by then they'll be six and a half months old, they're fine now but I'm terrofied of finding them "at it" one day. And I really don't want kittens espeshily inbred ones will they be ok untill the middle of January?

We got two kittens last night, who are four months old. They have come from a breeder and were kept in a cage outside. They are very frightened and once we finally got them out of the cat basket, they have now wedged themselves behind the washing machine. They did come out during the night and ate the food and drank water. However they have now got back behind the washing machine and I can't get to them. Any ideas on how to coax them out or should I just leave them there until they are ready to come out themselves (as I know they will eat when we are not around)?
