Here are ideals:

White vinagar

If you can find a product called Diaper Pure for soaking baby's

diapers this works the best. Mix a mixture of this with water, pour it on the spot and shop vac or soak it up. It neutralizes the smell. I saved a carpet this way. Oxyclean works as well but not as well.
When you are dealing with cat urine or any urine for that matter. The 3 major parts of urine is urea- which the sticky tacky part, the urochrome- which is the pigment or color part and the uric acid cyrstals and salts. Alot of products will work on the 1st two parts listed above which removes the stain and odor, the odor part is not gone the cyrstals just dry and become dormat, Isn't interesting that when it rains, or gets humid the ordor comes back or the carpet gets wet from steam cleaning or more urine from a pet the odor comes back, it always comes back.... It takes an very special product to get rid of urine competely, look at the following site www.urine-off.com this company makes bacteria and enzymes to eat Fats, Oils, Grease, strach, and Sugar. They spent alot of time feeding very specfic bacteria all the components of urine until they had a product that eat it all the way to Black Light Clean- that means that all the residue of the urine is gone.. Give them a try they truly have something very good. Good Luck with the Cat Pee

you could try spraying white vinegar in the suitcase. The vinegar smell will go away as it dries. If you can still detect cat smell, try vinegar again. This may take 2 or 3 applications of the vinegar. Soak it down, don't be stingy with the vinegar. Let it completely dry out between applications. The vinegar should be white, not red or cidar. Good Luck.

Well, what you should do is clean it out, but if the smell doesn't go away, then the cat probably sprayed it.
Get a new suitcase.

I don't think Fabrize is going to do anything but cover up the odor on a very short term level...it'll just keep coming back.

You may want to try a product called "Natures Miracle"....it works great, they use it in my Vets office.
If that fails your best bet is to buy a new suitcase, because if you can't get that smell out everytime you get out that suitcase the cat is going to pee in it.

You don't want to close your clothes up in a small space that's been peed in by a cat, no matter how "cleaned" or "perfumed" you think it is. Get a new suitcase.

Throw it away! Even when you think the smell is gone...it will come back on those high humidity days. Think about it...would you ever want to pack your clothes in something that a cat peed into?? Not me. I own two cats..one peed in a shallow plastic tub my daughter had her Beanie Babies stored in...needless to say...they still reek today.

Hi Alex...consider Nature's Miracle Just For Cats found worldwide at most pet stores. It's an enzymatic neutralizer which works by breaking down urine proteins by soaking contaminated areas thoroughly and then allowing to air dry. Repeated applications are necessary for heavily soiled areas.

Nature's Miracle Just For Catsproduct info: http://www.petsmart.com/global/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524441775019&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302025596&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=2534374302023690&bmUID=1167132360710&itemNo=0&Ntt=nature%27s+miracle+just+for+cats&In=All&previousText=nature%27s+miracle+just+for+cats&N=2

We've tested nearly all enzyme neutralizers available in the marketplace for our exotic cats which have stronger urine than domestic cats and found that Nature's Miracle Just for Cats has always worked the best.

Buy a new suitcase. That kind of stink never completely dissipates.

Get another suitcase.

Or you can try a pet odor remover but depending on the fabric it may not work.
