Ok I have come up with a few names-
Murder, Suicide, or Shadow Vox.
Yes, I know those aren't your every-day cat names, but that's pretty much the point.
So if you don't like any that I listed can you put another morbid, death-type of name?
&&thanks.

Hi Everyone. I am considering getting a new cat. The only breeds I am interested in are the Ragdoll and Maine Coon. Does anyone own either of these cat breeds? I'm trying to choose between the two and would like to know more about their personalities besides the generic stuff you find in breed profiles. Also does anyone know which of these cats is the larger breed. I've read about Maine Coons being 20+lbs and the largest cat in the Guinness book of world records is Maine Coon, but the heaviest is a Ragdoll. Also I was considering adopting an older retired cat from a breeder, but I'm kind of scared about getting a full grown cat because maybe it wont bond with me or it could scratch my eyes out because I do something that I didn't know it dislikes because I didn't raise it. Thanks for the help guys.

I feed him two cans of food per day. However, often after he has finished a can he goes to his bowl and wants more so I give him dry food. I worry that either he is not getting enough nutrients or he has worms.

My cat seems to be real hyper. She growls and spits when she doesn't get her way. She is about one yr old.

Every day l watch my neighbours fat cat climb into my garden, it wanders up to my favourite pear tree and begins to scratch its claws into it for ages, now that pear tree is only young and maybe wont last the winter at this rate. I was thinking, if l fired a soft pickled onion at the cat from my catapult, will it be against the law? I dont want to shoot it with my gun because thats cruel, lm thinking maybe the cat would smell the onion next time it comes in my garden and remember he got shot by it and leave, make sense?
:-)

So I have an adorable feral kitten, which we found Nov 22 and have been taming ever since. A week ago, we decided we needed to confine him, since we were not making a lot of progress. Since he has been confined, he has been really sweet. I can pick him up whenever, he does not hiss or scratch, etc. I pick him up several times a day and he purrs like crazy as long as I hold him. He is probably about 9 wks old now. He started trying to climb out of area we built for him, so I though I would try and take him out a little, but as soon as he got on the ground, he suddenly went back to being like he was before we confined him and it took me an hour to catch him and I got hissed at and scratched up.
How do we get him to stay tame outside the box? Should I let him out in a small room like the bathroom? How long will this take?

What if there were an area on Yahoo Answers where feline lovers (or any animal lover) could list pets for adoption? In the past few weeks, I've discovered a wealth of true, genuine pet lovers and I wonder if any of them would be willing to adopt other animals that need homes? I, myself, have a few outside "strays" (that don't know they are strays!) that I would truly love to find homes for - safe, warm, indoor homes.... It is difficult in this cold, snowy, typically miserable Northeast Ohio winter weather and to find potential homes would be a true blessing. Thoughts?

I have a 7yr old male cat, and this week, Im getting a male kitten. My neighbour told me that 2 male cats in the same houshold dont get along and that my older cat will probably not accept the kitten and run off. He isnt an agressive cat by nature. Any advice would be helpful!
