I've got a cat that is right now at the vet in serious condition with Blastomycosis. The other day when we braught him in they pumped 92cc of liquid off his left lunge and 11cc off his right lunge. He hadn't ate or drank anything out of his bowl for 8 days( we were on vacation). His kidneys at the time were functioning, but not to the best because of the dehydration. O, and they want to try and start him out on amphotericin B because he is so dehydrated and wont be able to give him itraconazole since it is given oraly. My question is is what is the estimated percent that he will live through this? I know it's low but i'm curious what other vets think or know.

Our cat is on my lap whilst I'm typing this. Why does she think she can just jump up, turn aroung, dig her claws in and go to sleep. Walk all over me with no regard to that part of my anatomy that does not like pain and use me for her convenience? Surely we are supposed dominion over animals?

my cat is a persian mix, but she's all white with 1 blue eye and 1 green eye. she's healthy, has a good appetite and very lively so i have not contacted a vet. but when i pet her, hair comes off in my hands and gets all over my clothes. i figured maybe it was just the heat, since it's summer and she's a house cat. she has no bald spots and her coat is still even and not thinning.

Is her shedding normal or could it be a vitamin deficiency? cat lovers need your help, thanx

I bought moist whisker licken's chicken flavor yesterday for my kitten and awarded her for strachin her post and for coming to me when I called her name, "Summer". (so i fed her 2 x yesterday)

Today, when she came to me when I called her, I decided to award her, but she didnt take the treat. Do you think she's sick of it already? Should I award her less?

My cat went missing 2 mths ago. I put all kinds of signs up, checked animal shelters, placed ads etc... No luck! He alway's would come home if he had gone out but one night he just never came back, I suspect he probably got hit or something horrible. It just seem's so final to forget him and that he may never come home. Does anyone have any idea's or should I just give up? I guess I should just give up. Please, I would love to hear some stories of hope or any suggestions, thanks!!

Earlier today I went to pick up some groceries at around 4 pm. I then came back and as I was going into the driveway I ran my neighbor's cat (Max) over. I never saw him there until he ran out from the bush straight in front of my tire. The lower part of my tire is now covered in his blood and his eyes are laying on the ground there. I currently have him stored inside a garbage bag right now. The cat was a gift for my neighbor's 2 young daughters which their grandmother had given them months ago to take care of.

Cat is 8 years old, in good health with no known allergies, or issues... She has in the past marked or squated only when she had issues like cystits or something. Lately, (like 6 times in 3 days) she is full on peeing in random locations. This is over a 3 day period, but the problem is cronic, at least 3 times a week. I can't take it anymore. Suggestions would be appreciated, as I don't want to take drastic measures up to and including making her absent. Haven't tried anti-depressants yet, but I think that's the next step. Yes there are 4 cats in the house, and multiple litter boxes, changed regularly. Anyone have any history with the drug side of the "fixing it"?

My cats are Zel (six years), Hikaru (four years), Pixie (three years), and Duo (one year). All of my cats are fixed, and all of them except Zel are overweight. It took me a long time to get Zel to a proper weight (he was a rescue). Hika and Duo are not horribly over weight, but Pixie doubled in size after she was spayed. They are eating from a community bowl with no regular meal time. Any advice on what I can do to help bring down my cats weight without Zel losing what he has? Thank you.

I love my cat.

Recently, me and my cat have been discovering ourselves. It all started when he began to rub up against me when I got out of the shower. I picked her up, as I usually do, and placed him on the sink.

But then something took over.

I felt...aroused my the sight of my cat. I couldn't control myself, and soon enough I found myself inserting my penis into the cat. She didn't like it at first, but then she began to accept it and somehow enjoyed it too. I found myself very pleased, and felt like I had found a new lover.

We've been doing this a few months now, and my cat has started to want it more than me. What can I do to please my cat even further?
