He's so cute.. His name is Chato, which, in spanish means something close to Flat, because of his flat face. He's a persian.

But since I brought him home he's been meowing.

Like mad. The only way to make him stop is to go with him. Is he trying to get some attention, or whats going on?

Our kitten is going to be a house cat so we don't have to worry about those monthly applications of flee products but when we brought her home I've noticed couple flees on her already. I need something that would kill them all and fast. Can I do something at home? I know there're special pills for dogs but what about cats?

If you sprinkle 20 Mule Team Borax to kill fleas, will it harm my cat?

I have a cat who does two amazing (I think) things. One, she has a small stuffed rabbit she is very attached to. If you throw it across the room, she will bring it back to you. Two, when it's time for bed (she sleeps with me) she will often go find the rabbit and bring it to bed with us. Wild...I wasn't a cat person until she came along. Is this unique behavior in a cat? Thanks.

With the heat wave being what its been, my air-conditioner has been running for days and I have caught a couple of my cats lapping at the water coming from the unit when they're out on the roof (its a flat top "deck"). I have to say it concerns me somewhat as I don't know what's in the water.

We have two Siberian Forest Cats. We got them because my son is allergic to other cats. He got near the Siberians and had no reaction and we've had two of them for two years now with no problem (and no medicine). Some web sites claim >no< difference, but we have noticed it.

Hello everybody! My name is Christina and I am using someones e-mail. I was wondering if this is rare for a cat if it is and all white cat with black face, ears, paws, feet, and tail. It has straight on the back and curly hair on the stomach. It has bright blue eyes. Different color blues too. It's not a Persian or Siamese. Its not a mix either. Its very beautiful. Her name is Sapphire. So is it rare?

My cat had fleas. I treated her and I'm treating the house. I've tied her up on a tile surface and I'm giving her baths every 6 days with a flea growth regulator shampoo along with giving her a monthly spot treatment and feeding her garlic. I will admitt that I had a habit of laying clothes around and she liked to rest on the clothes in the laudary basket. While lying in bed awake, I've been bitten while wearing nothing but my underware. I put white sheets on the bed so I can see if any fleas are on the bed. Can they bite through clothing? Can they crawl under elastic? And last, but not least, if they get in my hair, what can I use to get them out? I've searched the net, but have found nothing for human hair. I was thinking of using alcohol since they die almost instantly from it. But what if they laid eggs. What do I do then?

We moved out a few months ago, but they just sent us a bill for $443.00, claiming we damaged the carpet. Other than a few expected stains we kept the apartment in great shape. We had a cat for a few months, but we didn't tell the apartment manager or pay the pet deposit. We gave the cat away, but I scrubbed the carpet with every pet odor, dander, and 'accident' remover I could find. Is there a way for them to physically prove we had the cat, when there is no evidence left of her in the apartment? We had to give her to family, because of allergies.
