Yes. Just be sure to rinse, rinse, rinse. Put some mineral oil, or artifial tears ointment in her eyes first to help keep out the soap. If you do get soap in them just rinse like crazy. Baby shampoo is the safest to use.

I've washed my cat with baby shampoo before because it is so gentle but anything more than that I don't think would be good for them. Maybe using a bar of hand soap or liquid hand soap and make sure to wash it off completly, but it is best to use cat shampoo whenever possible.

I'm pretty sure this is a bad idea. I am certian you cannot wash a dog with people shampoo, well you can but. It's not good for there coat (Ie could dry it out or make it too greasy) You should realy use Kitten or cat shamppo because it has special minerals and vit. that are good for cats, they even make some that have good smells. I think it's awesome your cat even lets you bath him/her.

Call your vet and get your cat examined. Most Cats do not even need shampoo and if they do it is usually for a certain condition. Regular shampoo is most likely not safe for your cat and will probably do more harm then help.

I used shampoo on my son's cat when my grandson put diaper cream on it....poor thing it took me an hour to get it off and the cat was ok...so the shampoo worked with no problem.

No, the PH balance in people's shampoo, is much different than in cat's shampoo.

You can use people shampoo. It can cause dryness if it is used a lot, but not a few times or now and again. Ditute it half and half and it will be fine.
We have do it at the shelter many times. Heck, if they are covered in oil, you waash them in Dawn dish detergent, and that is not real gentle!!

I wouldn't reccomend it as you have to be very careful when it comes to a cats skin it gets dried out VERY quickly which is obviously not a good thing. Skip the back until u have something just for cats.

Use baby shampoo. Pet shampoo is recommended, but baby shampoo won't hurt anything.
