My kitten has adopted a new habit of cheewing on some strange things. Yesterday I turned around to find her gnawing on the solid wood window sill, and today she was chewing the bottom of my bathroom door!! She is almost 4 months old. Could she still be teething? Should I give her something to chew on??

We have an almost 4 year old male orange cat and a not even 1 year old black female cat. The black cat keeps getting little white worms that are probably only 2 cm. long. They kind of look like baby slugs because at one end, they have a "slug-like shapped end" with the little antenna things.

Our cats go in the basement because their litter box is down there. We have a lot of slugs outside. Anyone know what these wormy things are!?

We found a cat living on our porch in 105 degree heat. He looked thin so I fed him and gave him water. He is not neutered and overall looks healthy on the outside he is very friendly and is not wearing a collar. I have a small child and I am trying to protect our health, but make sure this animal gets the proper care.

HELP! My cat is crazy. I have bought him tons of toys to play with, yet he insists on tearing up everything in my house. He gets in the trash, climbs on shelves and breaks my picture frames, chews on cords, he even has eaten my homework before (no joke, he chewed it to pieces). I have tried using a spray bottle to squirt him when he is messing up things, but he goes right back to it. Is there any way to keep him from being so destructive?

I have a black and white domestic long hair- she's the cutest thing and already has a very sweet personality. Just curious about the whole show cat thing.

I'm watching my friends cat for a week. She came over and got her settled in and she seemed fine. This morning she hisses at the walls and even bit through my hand. I'm trying to give her time to explore and get used to things but she decided that it would be better to hide in a corner and hiss at any movement or noise. She is in the same room as her cat box but she refused to get out of the corner to poop. How can I speed up the comforting enough that she'll eat and go in her litter box? I don't care about the long run, I don't need her to want to be patted or touched and I'm not having guests over. Any suggestions?

I am so sick of my bf messing with my cat!! My cat is afraid of him. Everytime he's home my cat runs under the table! I feel so bad for him. I constantly yell at my bf to leave him alone and he thinks it is a joke! How do I get him to realize it's not. Is it weird to break up with your bf because he won't respect your wishes to be nice to your pet?

I know we aren't supposed to ask questions like this..but i really need a poll or something...
My boyfriend and I just got a cat, we want to name her Buto (which is a greek name for an egyptian goddess , complicated i know)
BUTO (BOO-toe; Female): This cobra goddess was another deity of protection and specialized in keeping those she favored hidden from the sight of evil. She had several titles including, "Lady of Heaven"; "Lady of the North"; and "Eye of Ra." This is a good name for a savvy house cat that makes certain nothing out of the ordinary takes place as long as she's around.

But we also like Tati (ta-ti) from "Rise of Kasi" and Stubbs from "Stubbs the Zombie"

We really already chose Buto, but I might have second opinions.

They were born in our backyard, we found them and thier mother, we fed the mother and soon the kittens started eating the food also. The mother is very friendly. We have now adopted 2 of them a male and female, but still after weeks they still run from us and wont let us pick them up. However if they are laying down they will stay there if we slowly walk to them to pet them, but if they are up they run.The vet says they are about 6-8 weeks old. Can anyone give us some suggestions

I am trying to name him and the is only 8 oz, had his eye injured or infected and it will have to be removed when he is a little older. He is blind in the one eye. A total sweet little boy. I wondered if anyone knew names of famous people who also had one eye, other than Sammy Davis Jr. and Sandy Dennis.
