Check the websites of the breeders' clubs like the Cat Fanciers Association (CFA) and The International Cat Association (TICA.) Also, Google for "Cat Shows" and you're sure to find many smaller, regional groups that have shows near your local area.
Don't worry about your kitty's lack of a pedigree. Virtually all shows have a "Household Pet" category for non-pedigreed and non-breeding cats. In fact, some shows are for Household Pets only. Since there's no breed standard for household pets, this category is mostly about beauty and personality.
Personality is important. A show cat must be able to handle travel to and from the show, being in a cage almost all day, being in a big hall with hundreds of strangers and dozens of strange cats, and being picked up and handled by the judges. Biting and scratching the judges won't win kitty any ribbons! (Hissing is usually OK, juges understand that cats are nervous critters by nature.)
If your think your kitty would be comfortable in the show environment, by all means go for it! Have fun! You might just have a budding International Grand Champion.

Start with local cat shows. Ask your vet or neighborhood pet stores if they know of any. If not, then check this website. It's got good information on getting started in cat shows. Your cat does NOT have to be a purebreed. They hold competitions for domestic cats also.

They do have household pet categories at purebred cat shows. Check with the Cat Fanciers Association and see if you can network with some local breeders who can give you some tips on showing your cat. You can also get a schedule of upcoming cat shows in your area.
Good luck, I love black and white cats!

most shows are for registered cats only however some may have classes for "Pets" you would have to find out when a show was and ask for a class list and entry forms
your cat must be fully vaccinated to go to any shows

It will have to be a pedigree cat with all the relevant papers, cat shows are NOT about personality and cuteness, but about how well the cat matches the breed standard. There are publications about cat showing, and presumably web sites.

Pick up your cat, open the door, and walk through it with the cat. At the other side, put it down.

You could go throw your registry company. In order to show a cat in most shows they have to be registered!
