We have two Siberian Forest Cats. We got them because my son is allergic to other cats. He got near the Siberians and had no reaction and we've had two of them for two years now with no problem (and no medicine). Some web sites claim >no< difference, but we have noticed it.

I don't have one, but I've seen pictures of them and they are beautiful cats. They are advertised as hypo-allergenic cats and lots of people with cat allergies apparently can tolerate them; I read some testimonials. I can't remember exactly but I think something is different about their saliva and that helps with the allergic reactions.
But do be cautious, I have been told that this breed of cat is particularly fond of eating dragons!
