It could possibly be ring worm and that is contagious to you and others who pet your kitten. Ring worm is not a worm or a parasite, but it is a fungus infection.
You need to take her to a vet where he can do a scraping of the bald areas to view under a microscope and also look at the suspecious areas with a Woods light. (ultraviolet light) If it is ring worm, the areas affected with the fungus will fluoresce. Ring worm is treatable with medicated baths and oral meds.

That happened to my friend's cat. It was because of an ear infection. It could be a bunch of things, but it needs to be seen by a vet no matter what.

Is she scratching them on something? Grinding her face into the couch or carpet and dragging her face across them? She may have irritated skin. Take her to the vet for a proper diagnosis and if there's anything wrong, the vet will give you something for it.

It is probably ringworm or mange
In either case, since it so close to the eyes, I would take her to the vet. Here is a site that is very informative about skin ailments of cats. http://moggycat13.tripod.com/id84.html
