my cats will not leave me alone for too long when i had the flue all they did was go to the potty box and bring me in some dry cat food they carried it in there mouth and spit it out on the bed i thought that was kinda odd .but and again when my oldest cat was ill and i first brough her in i nursed her back to health can they remember back that far and if they do can they understand that it made them better

I had cancer, and one of my cats slept on the very foot of the bed and wouldnt leave except to go to the litter box and eat, she didnt bring me kibble , when i had surgery on my jaw she sat beside my pillow and just looked worried. she lived to be 21 she was tiny, sweet and quiet and i will miss her till the moment i die. I dont think they remember as much as they sense things arent right and they are worried and trying to fix things.

when i had a cat and when ever i was sick she would never leave my side and would not let anyone get near me so i think cats will act like that if you are the ones who helped them

my cats are the same way, even when I am crying they come and try to cheer me up
