Domestic Short Hair as others have said, but these are the smartest and healthiest cats, IMHO. Ask your vet! And, if cats had their choice they would all rather be "mutts" as he is, they would be proud of it for having more free, mouser ancestors, strong hybrid genetic heritage. Who would want to be an in-bred?

Sphinx, Cornish Rex and Abyssinian cats are all hypoallergenic. All of those cats must be purchased from breeders and will also be really high-priced. A lady who owns a horse on the barn my horse is at owns an Abby and stated that her cat had price her $four hundred to get. According to her, the cat could be very laid again and adorable, however I have by no means in my view obvious the cat. Sphinx cats can price approximately $350 supply or take relying at the breeder. I've by no means obvious a Sphinx cat myself, however consistent with internet sites I've learn, they've an fine temperament. I'm no longer definite how a lot a Cornish Rex expenditures, however I'm definite they are additionally priced beautiful top.

He looks like a mixture of different cat breeds. I can never remember the name of the cat breeds, but American Short Hair looks to be one, but the ears are more reminiscent of the Egyptian or Persian breeds.

Cats come in 3 types:
Short, medium and long haired.
Yours looks like a short hair to me, but I could be mistaken.
Unless it is purebred and has papers. Then look at the papers, they can tell you.
