I have a cockatiel (hes 9 years old) and when he poos it stinks. It has only been smelling the last month and wondered if there is anything i could give him?

I have 2 baby cockatiels who are pets and I raised hand fed- One is doing fine, but the other was taken care of by a friend , who I think overfed it? Now ,it's belly is big, and it wants to fly , but can't because of it's belly, will this go away?Otherwise ,it's doing fine, walks all over and eating real cockatiel food, yet sometimes need alittle cockatiel babyfood-I'm very concerned , as I feel badly for it- I think the person I had caring for them for 4 days, while I was away fed it to often?Anyone know what I can do for it? Thank-you-

My two stupid parakeets wont eat fruit. I dont know what to do. Im am just wasting my money on fruit and they wont eat it! I tried putting seeds on it but all they do are pick the seeds of and leave the strawberry there to start growing mose!!! Its really annoying. Please help! I know ALL of the stuff they have to eat!, i have like 10 books but i just need your help!!!

Today i just saw a other nest in my front yard lemon tree and i notices there are two blue eggs that arent hatched yet ,but i was worrying what i should do about them because there are alot of wild raccons and straight cats that ocmes at nights i was afraid that one of them will even going to find them and eat the eggs . what would i do about the eggs. i hadnt seen the parents birds any where this afternoon. can i remove the nest or even get a bird house for the eggs to be safer place?and would the parents birds even going to abondon their youngs .

are cockatoo's and cockateils the same?
i'm buying a bird for the first time, so i have no experience and dont know anything about birds. all the responses ive gotten for my questions are mixed. i narrowed my list down to 5 birds. I need one that wont have a strong bite so itll be safe for kids to handle them. They have to be pretty social because all the pets i've had have been very interactive with the family. also i live in an apartment, i dont want one that is VERY loud before 9, and after 10pm, so it wont wake up the neighbors. also one that can be tamed and that likes to be around people. any helpful tips on any of the five birds would be helpful. thanks.

How old does a baby cockatiel have to be before I can put him in a cage without having to put towels on the floor. He can perch on the bottom perch but he will not climb in the cage or sit on the top perch. I cover the bottom so he won't fall through the grate.

What is the best way to stop birds from flying into my picture window? A black bird flew into the window this morning and broke its neck. I have heard about putting bird silhouette stickers on the window, does this work?

my quaker parrot i have i thought was a boy till i bought another boy and brought it home now my 2 quakers are mating and i don't know what i need to do to get a nest ready please help. could i put a shoe box in the cage. and would shreaded paper work as the nest or do i need to buy certain nesting stuff.

Found a baby sparrow in the yard today..barely able to flutter..(not really fly yet)..have it in a tall cage right now, but it doesnt even fly up to the branches..it can hop up to the food dish I put very low..I put wild bird seed in it , also provided a bird dish with water, it could reach..any other things I need to provide? It stays mostly on the floor, and hops around, or tucks its head under its wing, and sleeps on the floor.Should I give it a little nest to sit in, on the floor (a small dish with cotton or tissues?) Any help would really be appreciated!!
