Yes it does. Bird strikes occur when birds see open sky reflected in your window. This may occur, based on sunlight and the time of day, in certain windows of your home or certain areas of a large window. Put inexpensive stick-on silhouettes of hawks, falcons or owls on outside of window.
Hang plants, streamers, wind chimes, or other objects outside the window.
Move feeders away from large picture windows.
Many birds that hit windows and appear to be dead are merely stunned. Leave birds on ground covered with a kitchen colander or box with air holes, until they recover. This will protect them from predators...

Last month, I had a young female cardinal pecking against my glass door. She thought she saw another one in her territory and was trying to battle her. It stopped in a week.
Birds don't understand technology, even if it's called manufactured clear glass. Yea, do the stickers thing. Or hang an plastic owl (@$10) above the eve of the window. Be too scared of the owl to worry about what it thinks it sees in the window.

Yes that will work. I had the same problem a while back, but birds can be stupid too. I had one fly into my clearly visable door about a month ago. I do suggest the stickers though.

Get an eagle-shaped silhouetted sticker, or hawk. One of those owl statues will help also. It'll scare them away from the window. Avoid putting a bird feeder near that window also.

Modern scarecrows seldom take a human shape. On California farmland, highly reflective aluminized PET film ribbons are tied to the plants to create shimmers from the sun. Another approach are automatic noise guns powered with propane gas.

Any stickers work, butterflies look nice.
Get "Re-usable" ones from childrens' sticker books, they can be moves/changed and don't mark the glass.

I've seen that happen alot.
Unfortunately there really isn't anything you can do.
They do not see the glass and hit it.
Maybe hang sun catchers, like the stain glass ones, so that it obstructs their view and try to go around it.

you must shoot down all of the birds around your house that way they can't fly into the window.
