once he learns a word I have yet to see one forget a word. Sorry!
Try to limit his encounters with bad word or words you don't want him to repeat!
mine scolds my children every time I do and sometimes when I don't...lol they learn quickly too.

Parrots have a lovely way of remembering things we'd rather have them forget, don't they? ^.^
It's going to take some work changing your guy's repertoire. When around your bird and he's using the swear word, start using an alternative, ie 'F**K Y*U!' is turned into 'DUCK POO!'. When he uses the swears, ignore him and use the alternative in everyday conversations. It can take months to change his opinion, so be warned!
Another way of changing his vocabulary is start playing games with him that encourages different sounds that you can live with. One grey learned a really annoying cockatiel chirp and to distract him, his owner started playing 'peek a boo'. The bird learned to say 'peek a boo' and forgot about the cockatiel chirp :-)
Squirting with water and removing toys does more to ruin a good bird than change bad behaviors.
Good luck!

Stop speaking the offending word in front of him...and if you're lucky, he might grow out of it.
8 years ago, my Macaw picked up "Shut the F*** Up!!!"...thankfully, that was the ONLY time he ever said it! But we can't get him to stop approximating my wife speaking on the phone to her mom and saying, "holy sh*t!"
ps--when we lived in an apartment, we had a neighbor across the hall with an African Grey that she would have regular fits with...then she'd go out and you'd hear her bird saying, "Shut the F*** Up, you God-Damned Mother-F***ing Piece of Sh*T!!"
Luckily for her we had a great sense of humor!

Put on Spanish or french radio, preferably one that plays music as well. Then as he learns a new language he'll get bored with swearing and will sing opera or mariachi instead.

Make it feel loved. Make sure it knows that eveything around him is safe, even if its not. Teach him new words. All i did was to simply say Pretty Birdy over and over again to my bird and he picks up on it.

Im afraid your parrot will always do that once he has learned how to swear. Maybe you should teach him to stop yelling.

the parrots vocabulary is 350 words. So teach him a bunch of words till he forgets.
Or just smack him around a bit when he curses...

I am sure that you have heard the famous..Do onto others as they do onto you. You/or someone else has set the example here. Reward for good behavior!

Don't acknowledge the words you don't want him to say and reward the words you do want him to say. Also, get the whole family and any visitors to do the same thing.
