He has most of his feathers but cannot perch or fly yet. He flaps his wings a whole lot and tries to crawl. He eats well, i feed him moist cat food.
What other foods are better?
Is his breathing normal? If not, what do i do?
Is the flapping of wings normal?

Our back door has tinted glass, so no one outside can see in.

When I stand at a certain distance away from the door (when I am inside), no human can see me and it's obvious the dogs can't see me (if they hear me they look past me in the wrong direction).

However, when my rainbow lorikeet's cage is outside to get some sun, he can see me immediately. Every single time. And it's really obvious that he can see me. How is that possible?

I was just wondering how to hatch wild bird eggs because I found 2 little white eggs on the ground when i was headed to check the mail today and i brought them in because there was no nest or anything around it. The eggs are about an inch long about half an inch wide. I really fill like keeping these as my own so if you know anything about handling or anything let me know, please. Anyways I have them in a bowl with a damp towel and a light bulb handing over them keeping them warm. I also spray them every hour with water so they won't get so hot.I take them out every once in a while to make sure their not too hot or too cold. so if you get any info please tell me. Thank you very much!

You don't see birds falling from the sky, or dead birds in the street. It makes me think they must go away somewhere to die.

Me and my cat decided to take a walk in the morning and I noticed that one of my underwear was hanging outside and it seems I had forgotten about it for a month.

As I approached my underwear I noticed there were baby birds inside. There was a nest with 3 baby birds and I decided to let them stay.

I took the underwear inside my trailer and I changed and put them on without interrupting the birds.

It feels very uncomfortable but I feel I did the right thing by letting them stay there. I just wish The rash would go away because it burns and hurts. My cat pooper keeps pawing ay my pants trying to get to the birds.

There is a junco nest in my backyard and she has 2 beautiful babies and 1 stray egg that fell out of the nest. I dont know if it is fertile or not but since the mother was nowhere near it and it was out of the nes I put it in my duck incubator with no duck eggs in it. Considering it is fertile what temperatures will it need to properly hatch. Please do not tell me I made a bad choice because what help does that do because theres no hope of putting it back. Thank you.

My husband found 5 house sparrow eggs and brought them home. I put them into a shoebox with a towel and have a heatinglamp shining on them. At the right temperature though, I did some research.
How do I know if they are fertile?
I read something about candling them, but don't know how to do that.
Please help me out with that!

I fill my bird’s food dishes up to the top every morning. I have two African Grey Parrots. They pick at it and eat on it all day. They throw half of it out. My question is: Do you leave food out for parrots all day? Or do you pick the food up and give it to them on a schedule? If so, how often should I feed them? They are sooooooo messy with their food. They are on a pellet diet and that is what I have trouble with. I also switch out fruits and veggies and I will make them eggs, pasta, rice, etc. but they gobble that stuff up. It is the pellet food they like to play with and make a mess out of.

I have a male cockatiel (not exactly sure how old he is.. less than a year). I've had him for about 3 or 4 months but he still won't even sit on my finger. When I put my hand in the cage he's quite calm and doesn't fly around but as soon as i get within about 5cm of him he'll start to edge away and then climb up the cage. I feel really bad because he never gets let out of the cage, but I don't think I'd be able to get him back in if I let him out...please help! I've never had a bird so any advice at all would be appreciated.

Ok...so heres the story...
We have a decoration on the outside of our front door in which a family of birds decided to make their home. Just recently the eggs of the birds hatched and the mom has been their the whole time as we get into the house via the garage.....anyway... we have been avoiding the front door but my brother opened it up the other day causing the mom to fly out in a jolt but run into the wall and fall down. For the past 2 days, the mom has not been there and we are worried that the babies will die from a lack of food, warmth, tc.. What do we do to keep them alive. Thanks!

p.s. This is honestly a serious answer, please don't be rude. Thanks again.

I'm real confused. Ring Necked Parakeets are bigger than regular budgies and have bigger beaks too. Why are budgie foods meant for Ring Necks as well(also on the zupreem parakeets food bag it has Ring necks featured on the front of the organic food and the parakeet fruit blend. They just look like they should be eating parrot food or something.
