Besides the obvious answer of physical separation, does anyone have suggestions for keeping my cockatiel pair from wanting to nest and breed again so soon? They have raised 2 clutches in the past 3 months and their babies are wonderfully tame. But, until I find homes for everyone, I have to put up with a screaming male kept away from his girl.

My neighbour has chickens, 4 in total. They all are female and lay their eggs early in the morning. The noise they make trying to push the damn egg out keeps me awake in the morning when I need my sleep after a late night. Is there a law about keeping chickens in a residential back garden? Can I serve an ASBO on them or the owners?

I have a pidgeon living above my door and on my bay window. It basically just sits there and poo's all over my garden path. Now the RSPCA wont get rid of it, the council are clearly just slack jawed yokels who wont get rid of it. I cant kill it as it has more rights than the average human and is protected by the wildlife act of 1991 and therefore i can be imprisoned for duffinf it up. Ive tried WD40 cos they dont like the odour. ive tried talking softly to it to persuade it to leave peacefully. Ive even tried playing boyzone music to it in the hope that it will leave. but alas, no effect. Any ideas?

Just recently we gave our chirpy happy, fun, budgie to family to look after whilst me and my partner were away in turkey getting married, we were away for 2 weeks. my partner also sprung a surprise honeymoon away which was also another 2 weeks away, this was all planned. my baby girl budgie has been well looked after by family as she was fed toast everyday? i was not impressed as my budgie was very healthy she ate fruit and barely lived in her cage. since getting her back, she is very overweight and is unable to fly. she was healthy when i left her, very slim and healthy she is now plump, my concern is... since we got her back, she's very quiet, doesnt want to fly, she doesnt make a sound as before when you walked in to a room she would go nuts with excitement? whats wrong with her, is it maybe because she is angry with me and my partner for leaving her? or is she pine-ing for those who gave her toast every sodding morning? im lost. i want my chirpy happy healthy budgie back. xx
