I have four cockatiels, two budgies and two green cheek conures. The cockatiels' names are Fire Dive, Paris and his parents Mindwipe and Redshift. The Budgies are Buzzsaw and her mate MyGirl. The Conures are Brazil (M) and Bolivia (F).
I absolutely love how they think they own everything. They have a lot of attitude and it's funny when they want something that they know they can't have. I breed my cockatiels and my conures as the babies are absolutely adorable, especially when their feathers come in. I love the fact that I can talk to them and they actually seem to understand what I'm saying. I love how my one budgie tries to act like a cockatiel and will flirt like one when hanging around her (female) mate. Parrots have very involved social lives and I adore how I can fit right in although I don't have feathers. I love how cockatiels puff up and try to bite but really don't when they're mad. I also love the startled "OMG! SCARY!' reaction they give me when I put a new toy beside their play stand. The budgies are fun to watch, too. My one hen loves to boss around the quail. Heck, even the finch shoves the quail out of the way at meal time, LOL! My conures are very feisty. They're fiery tempered by they know how to goof off. I also love how my conure hen sleeps on her back. It scared me to death the first day I had her in my home! I wouldn't trade my darlings for the world. They make me happy and I know I can tease my cockatiels without losing a finger in the process! ;-)

a million) they could make great pets, or awful pets. It relies upon on how they are raised. 2) My favorites have constantly been Quakers, Amazons, Macaws, African Grays, and Cockatoos. 3) No. they % a great variety of coping with, socialization, and play time each and every day. maximum types could desire to recover from 2 hours. 4) some are friendly, some are not. Amazons are not usually cuddly, yet communicate properly. Cockatoos like to be cuddled. Quakers have been a number of the final birds i've got ever conventional- friendly, cuddly, talkative. 5) African Grays, overwhelmingly, communicate the final. Amazons are very stable besides. Cockatoos have an extremely sparkling voice, yet have a shrill screech. Quakers can communicate, yet sound like they are mumbling, and it may take awhile for them to verify new words. end result and greens: Apples, bananas, lettuce, broccoli, blueberries, seedless grapes, dried crimson peppers, papaya, mango are vast favorites. supply approximately as quickly as a week or so, and get rid of uneaten products after some hours. Seeds: %. a mix with peanuts and larger seeds, and make sure it is not any longer regularly sunflower seeds, because of the fact those are fatty. Water: constantly have clean water available, and alter it regular or each time evidently grimy. some birds like soaking their nutrition in the previous ingesting, so do no longer sell off it because of the fact there's a splash nutrition in it. Fruit Kibble: available at maximum puppy shops, it incorporates many of the supplementations they % and could be available to boot to seed mixes. Hand-feeding produces lots kinder, extra loving birds, and any stable parrot breeder or handler could desire to be waiting to help practice you in this.

I have 3:
A relinquished 3 year old Quaker female named Neo.
A rescued female African Grey named Pepper who's almost 16.
A 4 year old male African Grey named Parker.
I don't find any of them particularly "cute" per se.
They have pretty strong personalities and extremely well-defined likes and dislikes. Pepper has an endearing habit of repeating "Thank You. Thank You." while I'm making the birds their breakfast and dinner.
Parker tends to sneeze when I do. I'm working on training him so say "Bless you" instead of repeating the sneeze, but if I sneeze and there is a tissue near him, I have trained him to hand it to me after I'm done sneezing.
Parker will also put one toe up to his beak if ask him to do "Mini-Me".
If I open the front door, Pepper says, "Come Back".
Pepper will make a big kiss sound as she puts her beak up to my face.
And Neo will turn around on her perch like a top on the cue "turn around", even if I'm asking one of the other birds for the behavior.
I don't know if this qualifies as cute, but it's just a few of the behaviors they've been trained to do.
Parker is probably the most well-trained of the 3. I've lost track of how many behaviors he is capable of performing, but it's about 30.
He can put a small wiffle ball-type basketball thropugh a basketball hoop, but when he performs for people, I'd have to say his most popular trick is flipping over a rope on cue and then standing on it with one foot while he eats an almond. People really seem to like that one.

I have the bestest boid in the woild (for me, anyway).
His name is Gabby and he is and Illigers Macaw. The breed is the biggest of the Mini Macaws.
He talks and loves and goes anywhere I take him. I got him 2 yrs. ago when he was 1. And now that he is only 3 I realize that I have a very special boy on my hands. He learns and learns. And it is really awesome.
He does so many cute and wonderful things that there are just too many to list.
But I do gotta say, the best thing that he does for me.....is when he puts his head near my chest or my cheek and and presses and coos. And I whisper back to him .....'love Gabby love.' And I coo back.
Awwww enough mushy stuff.

We have two Conures; Mikki, 15-yo, is a White Eyed Conure and Sugar, 2-yo, is a Green Cheek Conure. They're as different as any two people and keep us entertained.
Mikki, whom we re-homed at the first of this year, talks and has a rather extensive vocabulary; he just learned to say, "Mama's Boy" and "Hi babies". When we are getting ready to leave the house he says, "Bye-bye Mikki, we'll be back!" He is selective with his humans and while he tolerates my husband, it is me he wants to be with.
Sugar is so sweet. He was parent raised so all of his socialization skills have come from us. Sugar has different ways to interact with my husband and me. While sitting on my husband's shoulder, he loves to cuddle behind my husband's ear and preen his hair. He doesn't do that with me but he kisses me and won't kiss my husband. He is just starting to "talk" and mostly that is Mikki's influence. Sugar is totally enamored with Mikki and is constantly looking for ways to be close to him. Sadly, the size difference between the two keeps us from allowing them to be together. Mikki was an only bird for nearly 15-years and we're concerned that because he is bigger, he will harm Sugar.

I have 6 of them (Alex - Alexandrine parakeet, Ruben - Rose-breasted cockatoo, Angel - Goffin's cockatoo, Darby - Cockatiel, Simon and Sunny both Ringneck parakeets). What makes them cute is their personalties. They're as different from each other as people are and what endears them to you are their ways of relating to you, personally. What's most amazing to me is they can suspend their natural instinct to be afraid so they can talk to you, eat from your hands, or rub their feathers and beak against your skin. (Angel nips your fingers if you STOP petting her). Cheezits are the universal all-time favorite snack.
