My parrot says some really cool stuff like, "I can talk can you fly." But every now and then he breaks out something weird like "Bite your friends," "hurt the dog," or "Bo is from dirty water." I swear we never hurt any dogs, we don't even have a dog. I think he just picks words from stuff he hears around the house and makes his own sentences. I'm just wonder what other people's grey's have to say.

"Happy Bird Day!" --Bo, my parrot

I have an egg on my counter and its peeping and wobbling. It made a tiny crack in the shell and it hasn't done much more than that though it has been a few hours (5hrs). How long must I endure this anxious waiting, Is it ok to help it a little? Please hurry.

It's a bantam wyandotte chicken.

My older goffins FINALLY did and has FINALLY grown back almost all his feathers and doesn't appear to be plucking anymore. I don't know why he was plucking to begin with or why he suddenly stopped (could be that we got a puppy to take his mind off overpreening or that he finally bonded with the other bird?).... anyone else have a bird who has also stopped? You never hear GOOD stories like this :-P

I have an outdoor bird cage with two birds, its a pretty big cage but theres these neighborhood cats that always try to get at my poor birds!

Is there something that I can spray around the area of the cage? Something that won't harm my birds?

My pearl cockatiel will hop out of her cage only to start screeching when outside and inside. It's not a loud whistle. One of the Petsmart people described it as a dinosaur noise. It's weird b/c she's really friendly. She won't bite. She will follow me around and come when I want her to perch on my fingers. She will eat from my hand, but sometimes I just put her by me and she makes that funny dinosaur noise. I've had cockatiels before and none of them made this noise...most of them had a sharp whistle/scream if scared or wanted attention...not this weird noise. Then sometimes even in her cage, she will be eating and making that same noise. Has anyone else noticed their cockatiels make that noise? And why?

He is just roosting in the rafters. Loud noises makes him fly around in circles but not out the doors. We have 2 "garage style" doors. Any suggestions?

My mom found a bird in her backyard yesterday and caught it and put it in a cage. My mom says it look like a parakeet, but my dad says that its too big to be a parakeet. She said that it's about the size of a cockateil, but that it's head is a dark green and the rest of it's body is a teal green color. Anybody have any ideas or know a website I can go to that has pictures of birds so that I could maybe match it up. I appreciate it.
