Heppner said that back when they emerged in Asia (evidently, they were nature-living animals, once), pigeons were cliff-dwellers. So now they balance their messy nests of sticks inside the guts of bridges, or atop tall buildings, or on top of your air conditioner.
Secondly, pigeons are parents non pareil. They lay only two eggs at a time, and spoil those babies shamefully. "The parents will feed the babies until they're totally feathered out," Heppner reported proudly. "By the time they leave the nest, they'll be about the same size as the adults.

I actually saw a baby pigeon some years ago as a child. the bird had fallen from it's nest. Unfortunately the bird never survived. Had something to do with the little boys in the neighborhood throwing rocks at it. Sad but true.

nicely, the answer to that query is that, pigeons have been initially cliff homing birds, and as because of the that, they have the capacity to stability their nests interior the main precarious of places, like atop tall homes, or interior the heart of bridges. that's why you ever hardly get to work out a sprint one pigeon. not in basic terms that. Pigeon mothers and dads feed their toddlers till finally they are totally feathered out. So even if in case you spot a very youthful pigeon, you will not know the version.

Because they are in their nests, tucked away high under the eaves of buildings etc. and they only leave the nest when they are pretty well full grown. They are very ugly. I think they are called Squabs, when babies.

oh you do!! Often in fact its just that by the time they fledge they are big but they still have a baby look! And they are the clumsy ones who miss the feeders and land in a heap!! We have had babies left on our garden table overnight they are cute!

You do but you may not recognise them, they are like there parents without the full markings. Like most young birds they stay in the nest until they should be able to cope for them-selves.

For the same reason you dont see many other bird babies either- uinless you are looking in their nest, which can be perched pretty high, you wont see the babies :)
