I've had lovebirds before but never could get them to talk.

If you were to read a book about lovebirds, you would find out that of all the parrots, they are the ones that do not speak. If one does, its VERY VERY VERY rare.

Lovebirds are not straightforward for being the terrific talkers; they might study to whistle some undemanding tunes, even with the incontrovertible fact that. in case you prefer a talker, attempt for a cockatiel or possibly a conure. terrific of luck, Phoenix

Neither of mine do, but I have met someone that had a lovebird that said hello, is was pretty garbled, but I could understand him...they're not known for their talking ability!

Our male lovebird does not talk, but he does imitate a budgie screech perfectly.:)

i have 2 loveirds and they can say my name but you have to train them every day

I have had one that could whistle the adams family theme song. he was very bad at it. we named him gizmo. then my sister sat on him and broke his neck :(
