when it's raining?
asked my 4yr old daughter, half an hour ago when we got caught in a downpour!
I said they prob flew to their nests to stay dry, and she said they might still sing in there nests, so why don't we hear them?!

Could a hawk really pick up a lamb?

When my dad was younger, he said he seen hawks pick up rabbits and drop then in an open feild to kill them. then he said that he knew a guy that seen a hawk take either one of his lambs, or maybe a full grown sheep into the air and drop it to the ground. could this have happend? thanks!

Hummingbirds. When should I take down their feeders?

I had over 50 hummingbirds this summer, (probably many more than that). I had 10 feeders I filled almost every day. I noticed the population has diminished by about 3/4. I still have hangers-on, maybe 10 or so. Last year I had a few that stayed the whole winter. I have 6 feeders up now, should I leave just one?....or?......

How do i find out if my budgie is a male or a female?

OK so when i bought my 2 budgies the lady that sold them to me asked me what colors i wanted them to be i said yellow she then said the solid yellow i said sure ,then she said this is the male then she said and the other i said blue and then she said this is the female but i've heard from people that you cant tell a lutino's sex because they all have a pink cere is this true.I dont know if this lady knew anything about birds but she was selling alot of them she had about 70 to sell.So im not sure if she bought them and then resold them or if she actually bred budgies.

Parakeet Help!PLEASE?

i had one of my parakeets for about 5 years and he never came near me or got on my hands except one time and now i got a new parakeet and he doesnt go on me either. what is going on? and how can i train them do play with me and go on me?
