My 9 month old african grey's beak always looks like its cracking and peeling..i dont know if this is normal or not. I asked the breeder because im so paranoid and he said that nothing was wrong. Then when i took him to get his wings trimmed the woman said he was really healthy. I dont know anyone else with a parrot so hopefully someone on here can help. thanks!

I want to buy a parakeet, but do they have them at petsmart? Also, if they do, is it possiable/likley they would come with parasites or illnesses?

Also, know of any good about bird websites?

Thanks!

Im a young magician and im trying to get into bird magic. First of all, i have no idea where to start to buy a dove or where to learn to teach a dove. Also, i have heard that a java dove is ideal for magic.
Any help would be appreciated!!!

My friend had a parakeet, not a Budgie, a Parakeet. To watch them interact was heartwarming. My friend would say, "Give me a kiss Larry" (the bird's name) and Larry would give him a kiss. Wherever he was, my friend would just call, "Hey, Larry!" and Larry would come. But Larry only liked my friend. Not his wife, not his kids, not his friends. Only my friend. Is this usually how it is with pet birds?

I calmly try to touch him but he fly's away or starts to bite my hand. I give him fruit and stuff but he only eats when he knows im busy with something else, I don't really know what to do now. He just about a full grown conure I don't know if that has anything to do with it but you get where im coming from.

Anyways help me figure a way I can be closer to one of my favorite pets I have. Thanks

((n i swear i was just shopping for my boys online for sweaters n shirts!!)) when these 2 beautiful birds flew away they opened their wings and there a bold white stripe that spread out across the backside of their wings. like a raccoon's eyes almost. black stripes on both sides of the bright white stripe. ~~ k so what bird is this ???? please sumbody tell me, help me find a picture. i will luv u forever!!!!!!!!!! xoxo

And if it is possible to teach a crow to speak where/how would a person find/capture a crow? I suppose it would have to be a chick. What type of trees do they most likely nest in? Thanx, PZB

Conversation wise between my macaw and amazon can be quite entertaining. When Baby wants me she tells me to come here. When I am doing something that Fuego cannot see he asks "what are you doing" They both tell me goodbye when I leave, they welcome me when I come home. Special treats are welcomed with Mmm good OR hey, THANK YOU! When they need extra attention and I cannot give it to the instantly the tone changes to almost a whine, kinda like a child begging. I don't know but sounds like they can put two & 2 together pretty darn good. This is only a small portion of the interesting actions that keep me in awe every single day....Any input?

What would happen if a morning dove had babies with a ring necked dove?

Could this make the babies un-natural, like could problems ocure with breeding them because this person wanted to do this with his birds, he wanted some pretty doves that no one else could have.

I have seen a photo of a part morning dove & part ring neck dove but it looked pretty much like a morning dove to me.
