Not sure I'm not a big fan of pet birds myself.

Longer lives because the types we as man raise can not survive out in the wild because of all of the wild birds we can not tame out there. Unless this is the part of the world that type of bird can live in and are allowed to roam free. I'd say they gain years to their life span compared to the death they would surcum to if left out in the wild in a part of the world not made for them to thrive in.

1)respect
if we did not have any respect for them they would not let
us tame them.

2)love
without love they would not see us as caring people

3)attention
without attention they would be bored and unhappy and think
their life is a reak
