I was in Chinatown an hour ago and I noticed three dead, flat pigeons on the same road. Do they not see the cars coming or are they too busy pecking at the ground?Lol. Anyways, OUCH for them!

I personaly hate the saying ''Rats with wings'' I do not consider pigeons to be a pest of any type.

These birds have saved many life's during the wars and have an excellent homming skill and can travel very far just to reach there home and in races they can be used to win money for kid hospitals as I have read.

Many humane's hate these birds for no good reason..pooping alot is NOT a good reason at all.
First we take away the passenger pigeon now we get mad at these birds for living there live's..like we would want to..its stupid!

I own and help these birds and there are many amazing breeds too some that can even do back flips in mid air & dive bomb to the ground its so neat as I have seen it with my own eye's.

Why get mad at a pigeon when you can be thinking about other things in life like its just stupid and a waste of time what has a pigeon ever done to you? besides poop on your new car...nature is MORE important that luxury with out it we would be dead of course....

I woke up this morning to get ready for work and I had noticed my canary sitting at the bottom of her cage sleeping. Before I left I went to go pick her up to put her back on the bar and she wasnt responding normaly. When I woke her up she started gasping for air and died right there in my hands. Besides being emotionally up set for losing her I have been racking my brain all day trying to figure out what happend to her...She was a 2 year old canary, but she was also a misfit. Before I lost her she had been doing alot of sleeping the past month. Other than that she would eat and sing. Anybody know??

Doves are home pigeons. They feed on grains generally. I would like to know whether they eat small insects and moths.

Not the one I use on Yahoo! Answers, just my regular old nappy hair. Whenever I let my hair out, my bird becomes extremely afraid of me. Shouldn't he still be able to recognize me?

It seems that one of my parakeets has a clogged vent. The poop seems to build up around the area, until I soak her bottom in warm water and remove it. Is there anything I can do to prevent this? Thanks for your help.

I'm planning on getting a budgie this weekend, but I'm not sure if I should get one or two. I know they're social birds, and while I'll interact with him as much as possible the house is empty most days of the week. Should I get two instead of one so they can chat to each other while everyone is out? Would that limit the level of socialisation that'd have with me? I've bought a cage big enough for two, so space isn't a problem.
