one of the baby budgies has a black beak. why is that??

It doesn't mean anything.
Some of mine have black beaks, some only have half a black beak and some have no black marks on the beak. Its all to do with the parents.

baby budgies are born with beaks that are black and soft. the beak will eventually loose the black coloration except for around the edges (sometimes). you will also notice the stripes across the top of their head indicates they are babies.. these will recede eventually as well, leaving a perfectly even colored head. their little toe nails will be dark also.

Might want to get this baby budgie to the vet. Doesn't sound to good. Good luck!

its just the coloring of the beak i wouldnt fret unless it falls offf or something if your really concerned call a vet,,,

make sure you have a fresh,clean beak scratcher for it to use. they are very cheap at walmart....
