He is about 8 months old and was hand raised. At first he was OK with being held - 1 or 2 times when he first came home with me and then he "flew" off my hand (wings are clipped) and rammed into the window. Since then he hisses and bit me really hard when I try to get him out. I know I need to work with him but I'm really freaked about getting bit again. It hurt! I've tried using a towel to get him and now he hates me even more. Any suggestions?

Ive been trying to find out from Yahoo, why they keep changing my word Male Rooster (c o c k ). The question was: My **** won't do his job. What should I do?
My **** won't do his job. My **** is big, but he runs away from hens. I'm trying to raise Rhode Island Reds. I try to inncubate the eggs but the eggs are not fertile. Should I get a new ****, or should I try artificial insemination?

if I ignore him, he come out, walks up my body and jumps on my head. Is it 'cos he loves me, hates me or is he just a control freak?

I want a parrot for a companion. I have done TONS of research on differnt species, both large and small. A family member has kept parrots (green wing macaw) so I have interacted with them. I guess i just want some help in deciding on species. And any advice you have aswell would be appreciated! thanks

I just found a pigeon with a broken wing. It will obviously never fly again, so I have decided that I must look after it. I already have cockateils. love birds, budgies and finches. But what do you feed a pigeon on?

There are hundreds of thousands of pigeons cohabiting w/ humans in many cities, but one rarely sees a dead pigeon. Why is that? where do the dead bodies go?

Hearing a clear speaking budgie is quite fun! If you are interested in hearing one clearly speaking English, please turn the volume up on your computer, and log on to Pipsqueak!'s website at www.mynameispipsqueak.com

I was in Columbia, South Carolina a few weeks ago and I thought I saw a coral colored bird with light colored underwings alight in a tree about 20 feet high.

It was a little bit smaller than a Robin with a short neck, small head. The coral color was iridescent. There was no calling or singing.

This was just after the hurricane dropped a lot of water, but no wind where I was.

Does anyone know of a bird with these characteristics?

Thanks for any info.
