Ive been trying to find out from Yahoo, why they keep changing my word Male Rooster (c o c k ). The question was: My **** won't do his job. What should I do?
My **** won't do his job. My **** is big, but he runs away from hens. I'm trying to raise Rhode Island Reds. I try to inncubate the eggs but the eggs are not fertile. Should I get a new ****, or should I try artificial insemination?

THEIR HEADS ARE IN THE GUTTER ALSO, JUST LIKE THE MANY PEOPLE THAT ANSWERED YOUR QUESTION. YOU GOT SO MANY ANSWERS TO THIS QUESTION, THAT'S CAUSE THEY SAW THE WORD C O C K, YET WHEN YOU CHANGE THE WORD TO ROOSTER IN YOUR LATER QUESTION, YOU ONLY GOT 3 ANSWERS. YOU NOW SEE WHAT TURNS THESE PEOPLE ON!!!

Because even in the poultry business, the rooster is always referred to as a rooster or a cockerel. The only poultry breeders that use it are people who engage in rooster fights.

And for what it's worth, nobody uses artificial insemination in the poultry business.

Because it is also a bad word when used in a different context. It doesn't know what you are using it as. Obviously you are not using it in reference to a bird so Yahoo is doing it's job.

Just use rooster instead.

BTW I don't know any farmer that refers to his rooster as his cock.

Certain words inflame the Word Censor.

You can't talk about your rooster, you cat or your female dog

Do you think the computer is a mind reader? Do you think it knows the meaning of the word you intended to use?

I am sure there is a list of banned words that trigger automatic censoring, and some of those words have multiple meanings.....some of them not nasty....and then some of them are.

Yahoo has a filter for profanity, very few people raise chickens, male or female.

Because hardly anyone uses the word in that context. It's much more widely used in reference to something else, and you know it.
