Well it does kill them...I work with some sick guys and they did it to the crows in the woods at the back of our work place. They put baking soda onto bread, folded the bread and pressed the edges to seal the powder into the bread pocket.

I didn't watch...but they came in roaring with laughter.

I did however watch when they soaked bread with Chlorpromazine, an antipsychotic...The crows were flying into tree trunks..but they didn't die.

once you feed a pigeon paracetemol, the pill would not return and forth to it extremely is head and swell up. no longer something you feed a pigeon will do this. PLUS pigeons are not that stupid. they do no longer explode on rice the two. it extremely is linked with a pagan prepare, linked with fertility. it is the genuine reason human beings do no longer throw rice anymore. i've got fed pigeons eco-friendly beans and dry corn and that they have survived or maybe executed very ok. Rice would be broken down and digested with little difficulty. they did no longer get so multiple by being weaklings.. they are rats on wings.. yet they are cute..

And why would one want to explode Pigeons. Isn't there enough small packages delivered from the sky's above our heads in Trafalgar square?

Ooooh...I didn't know we had kindergarten kids among us in Yahoo Answers!

Hey kiddo, feeding pigeons is a big no-no, just like talking to strangers! Don't do that or you'll get in trouble.

It's not baking powder, it's alka seltzer. And it's not pigeons, it's sea gulls. And no, they don't - their stomachs do and they die from bleeding internally. I can only assume it is one of the most awful ways to die.

I heard that those denture cleansing tablets did the same job.
Has anyone tried this experiment yet? I hate pigeons.

(Stand well back and wear wipeable clothing....... ewwwww!)

I heard it was sugar that did that. I tried feeding them rainbow drops once but they wouldn't eat them so I am not really sure.

Inexplicably yes. Although i think you will have to make sure the powder is dry I think. Not encouraging you to try it though lol

no. they'll just get really uncomfortable, with possible diarrhea, gas and bloating, but they might die if you feed them baking powder a lot though.

No, they just get bloated and then they eventually die because of it. The same with rice. But don't try it, that would be animal cruelty.
