my new betta fish died and before i found it dead it had a tendancy to not move or sink to the ground. He would not eat today and the water temp was consistant at 73 F. I only have a Betta bowl and a Betta light. I fed him a few Frozed red grubs yesterday.

We're low on money right now and I was wondering if it's possible for tapeworms in cats to just die off without treatment? I haven't seen them in a while and he doesn't look unhealthy. how serious are they? I am worried if I have to wait a few more weeks to get the medicine. I have an OTC treatment for roundworms but I'm pretty sure it does nothing for tapeworms.

I've heard it's healthy, I've heard it's dangerous.

I bought some chicken to give to my dog and I'm wondering if I should give it to him raw or cooked. If cooked I'll take the bones out of course. If raw do I need to take the bones out as well?

If you don't really know the answer, please dont' answer..I want people that know what they're talking about thanks!!

i have a hermanns tortoise and she's 8cm long.
I went to the petshop yesterday and was looking at some lepord tortoises, when i noticed that there nails were really short and round?????
it was then that i got a bit worried because my torts nails are quite long!
do i need to cut them? if so how?

if you buy a puppy that is not Kc Reg can you register them?
And also what does it mean when you know the dog is purebred but its not pedigree?

My mom gave me a couch and to find out her cat has peed in the corners of the couch and it is very foul. I want to know what will not only take away the smell but prevent the smell from coming back.
I know cats urine are amonia based so cant use most household products that have amonia.
What will kill that proteine in cats urine and break down those crystals. I DONT WANT THE SMELL TO COME BACK.
Does natures miracle or urine off work permanently so I wont have to spend money reapllying.
Should I just buy a new couch? :-(

Buying horses?
I'm in love with a 14.2 hh grey mare.shes had a troubled background and ive had he on loan for about 1 year and i broke her in etc etc .And now shes for sale and i relly want her but my mum keeps on saying no.Then changing the subject.I'm really scared that is we dont buy her she might go wild again.Help as i love her very very mutch !!

but she is already having hip problems, it gets bit tough for her sometimes. she loves walks, but she pays the price for it after. She cant jump into or out of the car anymore either. Does anyone know anything that helps, or remidies /medication. Yes I do already take her the vets, shes not on anything permanent but has had injection and courses in the past.

i have a under heater and a heat lamp.. i can get it 80-85 no problem in the daytime...but in the nighttime the temps in the tank can sometime drop to 60-65..how can i keep it at 70-75 at night?

I'm gonna get a new cat, but I can't decide where to get it. PetSmart, they have already spayed/Nudered cats.
Or Animal Control, most of the cats aren't fixed, and cost 40$.

By the way, what's the average price for a cat at PetSmart?

I'm sure most of you are familiar with how I've been trying to find a good horse since Star, the paint I was originally going to buy, didn't pass her vet check. Well today, after riding lessons, my mom and I went to Bob DeLorenzo's stables and was going to see three of their horses for sale. I absolutely fell in love with Sonny, their registered paint (solid). He's 15.2 hands, big bulky build (built like a Quarter Horse), and is bay in color with a stripe on his face. He has a great personality, and even gives kisses haha.
I rode him (only walk and trot, didn't canter cause I hate cantering in a western saddle lol). He listed really good, and before I rode him the lady who was showing me him, rode him in a canter, and he know his leads.
Give me a minute or two to post links to the pictures and videos.

PLEASE tell me what your opinion of him is.

ok, so like 5-6 months ago i had a bunny, he was about 1.5 years old. I dont know if i had given him the proper care or what, but he died. I feel real bad and have learned my lesson but my parents DONT think so. I've had only 1 or 2 animals in the past that depended on my care and i really didnt know what to do and how to do it, i had a hamster about 3 years ago, and she lived for almost 5 years and i cared for it the same way i did the bunny but the bunny did not live. I dont know if it was the care that i wasnt giving him, but i noticed he had a bloody stool a few times a week, and that his testicles were not filled out, and at 1.5 years that didnt seem right, I want to get another pet(guinea pig) but my parents dont think im ready to have another pet, but i think i am and that ive learned my lesson.

My dogs have fleas for the first time and i am treating the house to get rid of them. I have bombed the house and i am using boric acid on the floors. I am also using frontline which the dogs have been on for a long time.

I don't know what I should do? I'm 14 years old and my mother is forcing my dog to have babies after the vet advised to us that she cannot have anymore. My mom drove all the way to Des Moines for her to mate with someone else's dog. I don't even want her to have puppies?

fixed. They were eating canned cat food at the time. She is back now and healed up nicely. We didn't want another batch of kittens. But all of a sudden they are getting diarrea.
My husband took them off canned food and give them purina hard or dry cat food. Which is actually better for them, the dry food or the canned food.
