Ok, same way you'd do it if the dog poop was in your hair. WASH it out. Use the sink and a washcloth (and close the bathroom door). A little soap too, but make sure that's all washed out of the fur. Towel her dry.

Don't bathe the cat!! I'm serious; cats hate baths! THey hate water period. That would be wayy to much work.. I tried that when I first got my cat...yeow! I think I had maybe eleven scars. Try taking a wet cloth and scrub it off.. And in the future--if the cat starts to need a bath, just take a wet cloth and wipe her down good, and spray some animal-safe-perfume on her that you can probably get at petco or petsmart. But my number one thing would be please please please don't bathe her. Cat's wash themselves because they hate water so much...but I would suggest maybe every month or two; or if the smell really bothers you, every other week; wiping her down with a wet cloth. NO soap required! Seriously, cat soap is just a big scam...cats don't need baths like dogs do!

EDIT:: I got these wipes for my dog once; they're like a "portable bath" thing; they make him smell pretty good and they help clean him..bet there's the same thing for cats so you could try finding something like that I guess. Best Wishes with your kitty too.....Bye!

BATH! She may not like it, but it's better than having dried dog-doo crumbs all over (you may miss some without the bath). Besides, who knows what the dog poop was carrying. It's better for the general health of the household.

sorry, but a bath is going to have to do. you wont get it off completely with just a rag. try to give her onw in the sink and not in the bath. i think the tub will be too scary for her giving you a lot of scratches

If it's just a small area, a wet rag will do. If there is a lot, a bath is needed (which is a lot of work unfortunately).
