Again i see another careless owner,no doubt that will be the talk for a while about how dangerous these dogs are, well stop right there as my rottwieler is the most gentle giant you will ever meet, and yes it is the owner, you know my dog lets my friends daughter pull her around and she is not atal nasty, she is lovely and gentle, just becuase one is bad dont make the whole entire universe of rottys bad,put it like this i had ex boyfriend who was voilent, does that make every man voilent ?no it doesnt so back off rottweilers and give them a chance!!

I've had my second lesson of horse riding so far and I made a complete fool of myself in it. My trianer was trying to teach me how to trot and I just couldn't get it. This may not seem like a question but I just need to write this down somewhere to make me feel better :P. The thing is, it's hard for me to go up and down on the stirrups and kick at the same time. The horse's movement of going up and down is really strong and I just seem to be bouncing around everywhere instead of using my legs. How embarrasing...Does anyone have any tips that could work besides 'practice' cuz I know I have to. I just feel like I don't wanna show my face there again :(

My cat was draging his butt against the carpet while a chunk of poop was hanging out for a while and wanted out. I let him out and he just pooped almost immediatly and then he pooped again. He is acting weird and is now (after pooping) on a dry ledge away from the rain but won't come in. He is kinda curling up. Please Help!! Please be serious.

It's sad that some people think they are, when everybody should know that this depends on the owner and hence the upbringing of the little 1, be it a dog...or child!
Any dog can be dangerous if it is raised badly. Any child can
be dangerous if it is brought up badly. If a dog does something wrong, blame the owner, and hopefully this will soon be a law to include children. Blame the parents/owners because they are responsible for the attitude either has been taught.
Soon we are to make it illegal to own certain dogs. I wonder when the same law will be applied to children?

if the pup misbehaves and do things which are unacceptable, do you let it go and forgive because the pup is basically a baby?

my pup fails to obey any command or direction and only does what he likes when he likes.

my friend say that pup is like infant and so he is always to be forgiven no matter what he does. And that the training starts when he becomes adult.

i want to train my pup, but because he's so young (only 5 month old) i think of waiting till he is about 1 year old.

is that the correct approach?

I found Jody 5 months ago and today she has her first heat, I'm debating right now whether I should get her spayed. It's not monetary issue but I do not trust the vets here. Even my own vet has a bad track record with spaying. The vets here, (I'm not in the states right now but in south east asia) seems a bit unqualified especially when it comes to this kind operation and I'm really not trying to be mean, there are not many vets around here too, only 4 vets for the whole island. I'm really worried bout Jody and I have 3 other male dogs (3 yrs old) who don't seem interested in Jody or any other bitches even though they are in heat. I didn't neutered my male dogs too because of the same risk that is involved and I love them too much to send them to undergo the operation when I don't trust the vets. I've asked around and read the disadvantages of not getting my pets fixed which can lead to health issues when they are older, so right now I'm really torn. Please advice. Thank you.

I recently purchased a 72 gallon bow-front aquarium. I have not yet stocked it with fish. I want to get a yellow tang, a blue tang,a few snails, a sea star, some shrimp,2 clown fish,a damsel fish, possibly a seahorse.I am worried that if i buy an anemone it could kill them. Does anyone have any advice on anemones?I would love to add them to be a beautiful pair with the clown fish but do not want to jeopardize the other fish.

We have a collie/australian sheperd mix who is about 9 years old. She's a great dog, but she has bad arthritus, and she limps around all the time.
The past few days she wont eat her pills, or much of anything. When you rub her stomach she heaves. We took her to the vet, no heart worms, or any worms, and he gave her a shot. But none of us know what's wrong with her stomach, plus it's bloted. Any help? Anything I can give her that my be of use?
