Fortunately, monkeys are illegal to have as pets in Louisianna:

Summary of Law: No person may possess bears, cougars, or non-human primates as "pets." If you possessed one of these animals prior to the passage of the regulation you are grandfathered in.

have you put alot of thought before you buy a monkey? It is so sad that animals are caged they are happier when they are free to be with others.
