no chocolate whatsoever.....highly toxic to dogs. attacks the liver, I think. Milk can produce some nasty effects, but is not dangerous. Fruit is ok, but none of these is natural to their diet. Except for the grapes and raisins, which I never heard of until last year....who knew.

I agree with you on the attitude on some posts.....asking the question does not mean they should treat you like Jack the Ripper....for Pete's sake, people...it's a QUESTION. And it was a legitimate question. By the way, if you are in doubt about the validity of any of the answers, you can ask your vet, and also check it out on snopes.com....a lot of the urban legends AND the corrections appear there, and they are pretty reliable.

NEVER EVER FEED YOUR DOG CHOCOLATE! The milk, apples, and bread are good on occasion. As for the left overs, your dog is gonna end up getting fat if you feed him too much. The fat can cause "diabeetus" and even clogged arteries, which will result in an amputation and an expensive vet bill!! The best thing to feed your dog is something in a bag marked "dog food". Leftovers are okay on occasion as well, but make sure there are no bones in the meat. He could break up a shard and rupture his intestine.

Bread and apples are okay in small amounts

Milk may cause diarrhea.

Chocolate is TOXIC to dogs. Do NOT feed your dog chocolate. It can be FATAL in large enough doses (which really isn't much at all)

Chocolate is toxic to dogs.

Bread and milk are ok, but you won't like the smell in a few hours.

And I think apples are not good for dogs either.
Oniions are definately on the nono list for dogs, as are grapes.

Just feed him a good quality dog food. Cheaper, easier & the best option for your dog.

Plain and simple.

You could occasionally give him a piece of bread or apple (or other safe veggies like carrots) as a treat but it shouldn’t make up his diet. A diet made up of “table scraps” and such, is not nutritionally sound for your dog.

Most dogs are lactose intolerant, so no milk (unless you like cleaning up diarrhoea). And as everyone else has told you chocolate is a massive risk, it is toxic to dogs.

Chocolate can kill a dog, but only certain kinds like im pretty sure dark chocolate and more concentrated types. My dogs eat apples, bread and milk and they are very healthy. Just remember not to over do it!

DONT FEED UR DOG CHOCOLATE! ITS LIKE POISON 2 DOGS
i would say not to let it drink too much milk if its a puppy that's different. Apples and bread are ok just don't feed him that everyday. If he enjoys it and ur vet says its ok than feed it 2 it like u would w/ treats.

Chocolate is not ok as it is toxic to dogs.
Apples are fine.
Only feed a him bread and milk sometimes as lactose can leave your dog with a sore stomach and runny poo.
