I need to make my dog quit peeing on his bedding and in his crate. I know the crate has to be the right size and all that so don't comment that please. But I can take him outside and he will go pee and then I bring him back inside and he goes in his crate right afterwards. He can literally pee for over two minutes outside and then still come in and pee. He doesn't even drink that much. He is a little over a year now and he does let me know when he wants to go outside but I just cant get him to quit going in his bed or crate. I have tried scrubbing his crate and taking all the bedding out and still no success. The crate is barely big enough for him to stand up in but he has enough room to lay in and turn around. The only time he is in the crate is when I go to bed so dont think that he is in there all day or anything like that. I used to just leave the door open so he could come and go as he pleased but now I have to shut it so he wont pee on the carpet. Any GOOD answers would help.

Well my cat passed her due date, its almost a week now and I'm worried. She just started to wander of under my bed and in my parents room when everyong is not there. She already faced the symptoms of near labour weeks ago. She naps alot, she sleeps from 3-5 hours, wakes up for food and walks around a bit then sleeps again. Is it normal for he to pass her due date with a week? I was going to call the vet but my mom said she's fine. Please help.

I have two 2 year old guinea-pigs and was just wondering what breed and colour they are.

Morgan is the purply, gingery one
Storm is the blacky, golden one, who also has a crest.

I just don't know what breed they are or what colour to class Morgan as.

a dog or cat can be understood if its kept as pet. But some people keep goat as pet. Why?

I don't see any point in keeping goat as pet because goat is completely brainless and useless.

OK, so I got a betta male on Thursday. This morning, he made a bubble nest and I started thinking that maybe I should try breeding once. But my head is spinning and I dunno where to start:
My betta male is pretty small and not very colorful, so he's probably pretty young (right?). And he made his nest pretty quickly, which means he's probably being fed well and in good water condition (right?). Also, he's in a bowl, not a tank, and I also need a tank size.
On the 26th (because stores are closed tomorrow) I'm most likely going to buy a female for him. I'll put them in the same bowl (is that safe? Or should I buy a tank and put them together and put some toys in for her to hide?). After they've chased each other, gotten her eggs fertilized, etc. I'll take her out and put her in a separate bowl. Here's where it gets tough: I don't want THAT many betta babies. I'm going to have to take some of the eggs out. How many is safe if I don't have too many people to give them too? More in a sec.

I'm interested in getting turtles and I need to find out where to get appropriate equipment. Does this look like it would be decent?: http://www.guppysaquariumproducts.com.au/uv-sterilizers/aquarium-uv-light-6w-hang-on/prod_29.html
Also does anyone have any other advice on caring for turtles?

if dogs are like cats who dont recognize authority and do whatever that pleases them, would you still want them? Would they still be man's bestfriend?

I have a female German Shepherd and she is almost two years old. She isn't very aggressive towards people if she sees they aren't a threat ,but with my new puppy she just plainly hates him. I got her a muzzle and put them in the same room together with me. He can get close ,but when he gets in her face she freaks out and tries to attack him ,and I shoot her with water and tell her no(she hates water and is usually very effective with training and discipline). I've been doing this for a little less than a week ,and it seems that she is only slightly better. Only if i'm not there she gets a little more aggressive. She's never been aggressive to anyone. Also, if you need to know the puppy is 4 months old and about half my dog's size. He is a boy if that means anything. So, should I just continue what i'm doing or is there any possible alternative that could be more effective?

how come when you pet a cat right above it's tail it kinda makes a squirmy movement that ripples across the whole body? is that a sensitive spot or something? they don't seem to mind me when I pet them there but it seems like as a reflex they do that... what is it?

Ours have stockings and each has a box of bark bars, some treats, chews, each has a toy and a ball.
We'll wrap presents loosely and then let them "nose" them open. They get all giddy and excited when it's the holidays. They KNOW they have stockings and will be real excited to dig into them. They won't be allowed but a few treats of their choice and the rest of the treats will go in their treat box.
Tomorrow, they will get some turkey breast (each one of them, no skin or bones) as a "treat" with their food.
How do you celebrate?

today she had one, bout 6 months ago she had one, and i think about twice before that she had some spread out. poor kitty. first of all i was in my room and she was in the living room. suddenly i hear 2 screams from her. then i run to her where she was sleeping and she is digging her paws in the couch with her eyes closed and shaking. this happens for a minute. then she opens up her eyes just staring down at the couch for about a minute. i try to get her attention, she doesnt answer. then, she looks up and her pupils are huge!! she looked SO confused. she is also breathing VERY hard. poor thing. then for the next 10 mintues she is running around meowing constantly like she is lost.
so i was like, dad take her to the freakin vet. he's like its not too serious plus she doesnt have insurance. im like what the h?
i really need to talk about this please comment or IM me on aim pinkxxpokadot

I have been giving her her antibiotics and she had pain meds the first few days. I just noticed yesterday that around her stiches she has a red rash. Her stitches look fine, no ozing or anything. But tonight she has been acting out, she wants alot of attention and shes shivering a little bit. I know the rash iss bothering her because she keeps licking it. It feels very hot to the touch. She gets her stitches out on wed. just would like some advice for now.. Thank you, sorry so long. and happy holidays to al

my daughter was getting a book from her bookshelf to read for bed and left the door open. the dog slipped out and before we could catch her, she snagged the brownie off of santa's plate. the chocolate chip cookies were still there, but the 2 inch square peanut butter chocolate brownie was gone, and she was licking her lips. is she going to be ok? was it enough to seriously hurt her? she's asleep in my bed right now. she seems to be ok, for now. i'm going to stay up for a while and keep an eye on her. i'm just worried. thanks.
