I have two young male cats who are not even a year old yet. I can't let them sleep in my room bceuase they keep me up all night running around. They leave me alone until 6:30am, the time I get up for work. This is helpful cause I can't over sleep but on Saturdays and Sundays I can't sleep in becase they meow at my door non-stop until I get up. They have plenty of food and water, their litter box is clean and they have tons of toys. I have tried scaring them. Using a water bottle and spraying water at them. They meow for an hour then I open my dorr and they run because they know I am going to chase them. BUT then 2 minutes later they come back again meowing. Please, does anyone have an idea on how to stop this???

I am setting a new aquarium for gold fish. It's 200cm x 50cm x 50cm. The gold fish i am going to have are about 5-7 months old. I also will have an aerator and i'm planning to do partial water change weekly. How many of those fish can i put in there to the maximum?

My 6-months- old German Shepherd has hot spots that become rushes on his skin. His breeder never had this problem with his dogs, so it is not a genetic. My dog is on a raw diet and supplements as salmon oil, kelp/alfalfa. Also, I gave him 'skin and cout' vitamins which cotain soybeen oil. I still have no idea, where this problem came from - I have read lots of articles about dog's alergies to long hair cats(we have one, too), soybeen oil, etc. I used benadril - it helps little-bit. Then, I bout Dr. Goodpet itshy skin free drops - I use them a week but do not see any improvement. Our vet is about 100-year-old. By another hand, I don't want to treet my dog with antibiotics as it has a site effect. I would appreciate any help and suggestions.

Hi there. Thanks to everyone who helped me with my cat kidney faliure question a few days ago : (. It was all so helpful, but little Felix passed away. I miss him terribly! : ( : ( He was just the sweetest.
There is an animal shelter in town, and I already had my eye on one kitty a couple of weeks ago for a friend. She didn't end up taking the cat, and I can't help thinking that we have space for another.
My husband (and rightly so) is worried that our female (spayed) adult cat is not going to be happy with the new addition. I strongly believe that though it will be tough at the beginning - it could be a good thing.
Our cat loves playing and was constantly trying to get Felix the angel to join in with her fun and games.
Has anyone done this before? Do you reccommend it? And lastly; any tips? Thanks so much.

Hi, I've noticed that my dog has a little black oval shaped bit of skin on her elbow and it seems to be dry and flakey and the hair is a bit thin there, it sticks out a bit but is almost completely flat. I've noticed it a long time ago but thought nothing of it. It hasn't grown at all. It's only about 1cm long and she doesn't seem to notice it at all. Anyone know what it is?

Me and my GF have three dogs. Two toy poodles and a doberman. Im currently training my Dobe obediance and agility training. My GF gets really pissed to see that Im putting all my effort into traing Sissie my dobe and not her dogs. The reason is they dont have any formal training in any aspect of there whole existance. Not even house trained which burns me up more than anything but she says that there blatters are small so they cant hold it as long as my dobe. Thats crap because my moms yorkie can hold it more than 24 hours god forbid he ever has to again. But anyway back to the topic at hand. All they do is sit in her lap and follow her twenty-four seven. If I touch them or fuss them they growl and show there teeth. They bite everyone that comes in the house. Mean *** little dogs. I have no will or want to train those evil little dogs. But she gets geolous when I spend time with my dog training and jogging with her. I think she hates my dog! Any body ever have this problem.....

Is it possible for red-eared sliders to get too much light? By that I mean, they seem to be VERY energetic... CONSTANTLY swimming around the tank at a fast pace. I hardly see them rest.

Would it be good to turn their light off at night? There's a dark spot in the tank, and that's where their little cave is. So it's not like the ENTIRE tank is lit up. I guess I just feel bad that they won't be able to see a thing at night with the light off. And I see them basking at night.

Oh, they're only babies by the way... if that changes anything.

There are these little white wormy things that I noticed in the gravel today. I know there are the kinds of white wormy things that float around in your tank when you have to much nutrients/food in your tank, but these looked slightly fatter than the floating ones, and they were in the gravel. Do you think that they are parasites?

Not that I would ever do that. I don't even own a firearm.

I grew up in the city and suburbs and never really knew much about farming. I made a friend who lived out in the country and I went to go visit him. One time he has his farmer friend over so I asked him a lot of questions. Knowing people shoot regualr animals like deer and such for sport, I made a joke (and it was just a joke) asking what would happen if someone shot one of their cattle.

The guy immediately stopped smiling and started to look very serious. He told me there is an unwritten law that you just don't go and shoot another farmers cattle. I told him, maybe with no motive. Maybe it would be just a bunch of city kids driving through the country. They saw a cow and decided to shoot it.

He told me those types of occurences don't involve the local sheriff and the city folk would wind up missing and never be found.

What is he talking about? Why would farmers take it so personal if someone shot one?

Hello. My oldest cat was infested with tapeworms. He withered from 16lbs to 6lbs in about 6 months. We took him to 2 vets (the first telling us he was just losing weight from old age. The 2nd one told us he was infested with tapeworms) Wednesday we took him back to the vet. He was extremely lethargic, weak, and quit eating. Last night he passed away at the vet. So here is my question. Can tapeworms cause a cat to die?
