She's black so there is black dog hair is everywhere!

We're coming into summer here in New Zealand, so I'm guessing she's losing her winter coat. She's a cocker spaniel lab X (there are some photos on my page).

I'm going to buy a special brush tomorrow from the vet. She hates having baths..

Are there any other suggestions to pick up the hair? Or to stop the molting? Or anything else?

Thank you =]

I need to teach my cat not to go into one room. I'm thinking about getting one of those collars that shocks them if they go in a forbidden Zone. She attacked and killed two of my other pets. The door was supposed to be closed and the cage locked, but SOMEONE let her in and she ripped open the screen top and maimed two geckos.

A shock collar would make her terrified to go near that place, so that should keep her out.

He usually smells like powder, but from last night, first he did not eat his dinner, then during his sleep, he jumped a couple of times and I noticed a horrible smell coming from him. His mouth started to dribble terribly and he won`t let us hold him, plus he is whinning from time to time.

I have tried searching the Internet, but have found nothing of help.

We will only take him to the vet, if it is necessary, as we believe in self healing upto a certain point.

Would really appreciate knowing what is going on.

They keep going for her and last night they got hold of her again. We have fenced the area off but cats will be cats and Im sure she roams around the garden a little.

What can we do? We have tried introducing them to each other but she is so scared of them. The one is a bull terrior and it is in her blood to chase. Does any one know of any way to get them to just leave my kitty alone?

I'm so sick of seeing questions from pet owners saying their dog/cat is sick but they cannot afford the vet bill.
I understand in some situations people are going through rought patches, but I'm talking about the people who just got a puppy/kitten and it's sick and they cannot afford to take it to the vet- why in the world did they get a pet then?

This just makes me sick to my stomach and makes me want to cry knowing these poor animals are out there ill and their owners are too irresponsible to properly care for them.

This is why I had to stop looking in the Pet section the first time- it's just so upsetting to see these questions.

Does anyone else notice these things? Opinions?

I live across the street from a LAZY lard-butt family with a golden retriever that always barks during the day. I have a 2-mo old that only sleeps well during the daytime, and even then I need to get things done for my home-business. I can't take naps with my baby to get my rest, or get any work done without wanting to rip MY HAIR OUT!

The dog's barking starts at 8am and ends at about 6pm when the neighbors get home. It keeps me on nerves edge. I have sent then an anonymous POLITE-AS-HECK letter and some information on how to keep dogs from barking (printed from my city's animal-control website). I have called animal control 5 times to report it, and they say they can only issue a warning letter. NO IMPROVEMENTS SO FAR. I only have so much hair.

The city recommended that I fill out an affidavit of a week's length recording the dog's barking itmes, then the neighbors will be issued an OFFICIAL CITATION. If they contest it, then I have to go to court to face them.
Advice please?

My brother left for the military and guess who got stuck baby-sitting his rather snooty lizard? ME, that's who! >:( So I was wondering...when the heck do these suckers stop growing? Jinx is like a foot or 14inches long now! He's in a breeder tank, so he has plenty of room, but will he stunt if he's in a smaller cage. I don't want him to, I'm just wondering.

And how do you tell if a bearded drangon is a 'Jinx' or a 'Jinxina'? Male or female, I mean. Thanks!

I am having my sisters cat for the winter. As she thinks its too cold outside for him in his hutch. The thing is I have 2 cats both female and both spayed. The rabbit has also been neutered. How can I introduce them. Do I let the rabbit run free and the cats in the cat boxes or the other way round. Will the cats eventually get used to the rabbit and vise versa. Will the cats attack the rabbit. Any hints or tips or general advice would be greatly appreciated. The rabbit is about the same size as the cats.

If its submission why is she not submissive while walking on the leash?
