The vaccination comes from the pharmacy and I would know because I am a pharmacy tech...our shipper just doesn't tell me whats in it in the description.

Nothing.. You should go to the vet where vaccines are stored properly and are most effective. Those other places don't properly store their vaccines and a lot of them are totally ineffective, and can be dangerous.

One should NEVER use an OTC vaccine that isn't from a known drug company!!!! Also beaware taht the drug companies do not guarantee vaccianes bought OTC and not bought & administered by a vet.

A puppy/dog should NEVER be given a 7 in 1 vaccine nor even a 5 in 1...these are NOT recommended for ANY puppy/dog.

In addition, 7 in 1 shots of any sort are completely unnecessary and are NOT core vaccinations. Only distemper, parvo, hepatitis (adenovirus-2) and rabies are core vaccinations. All the rest (lepto, bordatella, lyme, corona) are either ineffectual or they should only be given if endemic to the area. They are considered optional. Only the rabies vaccination is considered mandatory as required by law.

you don't need a 7 in one for the core shots and there's nothing wrong with giving them yourself! I'd still purchase it from someplace else. There are only a few shots your dog actually needs and you should skip the rest. only the rabies vaccine needs to be given by a vet (by law).

There is absolutely NOTHING from Wal*Mart that I would give to my dogs! Vaccinations should be given by a vet. Please don't give your puppy anything that is sold over-the-counter or sold by any mass-market retailer.

I would not trust that at all- Walmart sells plenty of brands that have been known to kill hundreds of pets due to the harmful chemicals.
Get your pet vaccinated from a vet.
Also, do you know how to properly give a vaccination to your pet? If not, please take it to the vet to have this done.

Would you give your child off-the-shelf chicken pox vaccine from Wal-Mart?

If not, why would you do that to your dog?

It would help to know the brand of the shot.
