are reeves turtles good pets? how big do they grow? my local pet shop sells them for $10 each. is this too expensive?

I've heard you can feed them food out of the refrigerator but I'm hesitant to feed them any kind of human food just in case. Is it alright to feed them certain human foods and if so, what kinds are good? All help is appreciated

i understand that the tank has to be half cool, half warm.. but i have an under pad warmer.. and it STICKS to the glass undetrneath the tank...

so do i put it half on and leave out the sticky part??

I have a two year old yorkshire terrier. He is so perfect and I have been thinking about breeding him. I found somebody that I know that has one also. We have compared their pedigrees and neither of them have genetic problems. The dam has already been in heat one time. We are expecting her to go in again in another month or so. We have already found buyers. The male has a perfect temperment, not shy, very loving, loves people. The female is loving and a great companion. The male is 4 1/2 lbs, the female is 6. both are in perfect health. They both fit the criteria for the breed. We have totally researched the breeds and all there is to know about breeding. Are we ready? Is there anything elso that we should do?

2 mounths ago i was showing my cuzin my turtles, i put my res turtle on the table and it fell and landed on his back. when i put him in his tank and a little bit of blood came out his mouth today i was cleaning his tank and he tryed to bite me and when he close his mouth it made a cracking noise. can some one plese tell mewhat is wrong with my turtle?
there is going to be a prize if some one tells me whats wrong with my res turtle..........

Ok here is the deal! my cat is like my best friend! She has alawys been there for me. Now she alawys use to sleep with mme. Now he goes into everyybodys room except mine! what souuld i do. Change my sheets, clean my room?? I need help

Also i have a beagle. i need a care schudel for it. like 7:30 feed. 5:30 walk? You get it! I love my beagle but idk what to do please help with that too!!

There is a big (no pun intended) difference between a large breed and a giant breed? Giant breeds are not for the novice. They can cause a lot of damage, heartache and require early stern training. These giant breeds can be larger than the "large" breed dogs at six months of age.

Just let my dog outside, and when she came inside, her breath smelt of moth balls..I relaize that moth balls are posionous and illegal..I'm not exactly sure if she ate them, or she just had them in her mouth..I was reading online how dangerous they are and how the dog can have a sezur and die..Now, petriffied, I need help. I bought my sister a black mystery snail a month ago from petsmart and it was very active and seemingly healthy and lived in a tank with 3 but now 2 guppies and was fine but now all of a sudden it hasn't moved at all for the past 2 days! it was doing this earlier a week or so ago but moved only a little bit but now it won't move at all! any guesses or ideas what is wrong with it! we thought that it might not be getting enough food because of the other fish so we put in another little bowl alone with some food but still nothing! please help! i know it's just a small 60 cent snail but it means so much to my baby sister and i don't want her to be sad especially not with christmas coming up so please help me. happy holidays!

Our cat is sick. He is an 80% outdoor cat, he hates to stay in. But we have been keeping him in, he has been sick for over 2 weeks. He has no shots except for his rabies. He has a bad cold and is getting our other animals sick. My dad being the idiot that he is, is too lazy to bring him to the vet and is giving him VetRx for sheep. Is that a good idea. I told him it wasn't and to bring him to the vet, we have the money, that is not the issue.

i have a baby python that i bought about a month ago and she has thrown up the last two mice iv given her. I dont know why she does, she moves around the cage and is active, she doesnt look sick but she can seem to keep the mice down. we were feeding her dead mice but we switched to live ones today to see if it would make a difference any advice would help. thanks!!

its about 3 months old... i have had it in the house for like a week now. I dont keep it locked in one room i let it roam the house... i have another cat who is older and has sortta adopted it.... but the kitten wont scratch or bite if u pick it up. it just runs when u come near it and hisses..... sometimes it will come to u and let u pet it but then other times it runs.... is there any way to tame him?

I have a uromastyx who I brought back from a trip around the town (aprox 30 min) and I put him in his cage for 45 minutes now and he won't come out! Should I check on him or should I leave him there because he rarely is in his rock for that long.
